Also the wonderful guy who told me the IRS doesn’t provide a specific date is way out of the loop and full of it. Since they give Direct Deposit Dates. SMH. So i did some of my own research for peace of mind. Thats why I’m saying I am sure they see the money. Half his answer was bs which I’m sure is because he was tired of me harassing him.

Ok here is a answer i received from TPG today.

Feb 18, 8:58 AM PSTThe IRS does not provide a specific date. However, from the date the IRS sent us your record, they say you should expect your refund back in 10-21 days.
It takes at least 1-2 business days from the time we disburse your funds to you for the money to be available in your bank account. The money is sent through the Federal Reserve Bank, which does not operate on weekends or holidays.
You can also check the status of your refund by logging onto the IRS website http://www.irs.gov/refunds or calling the IRS at (1-800-829-1954).
For up-to-date information about your TPG account, please log onto our website http://www.taxpayer.sbtpg.com
Now that being said, my experience has always been getting my refund 1-3 days before the actual DDD date. Ive never worked with TPG before. Im sure they see the money and are not telling anyone that to keep people from freaking and calling. My guess is Tuesday if we are very lucky.

The Federal Reserve Bank will be closed on Monday, February 20, 2017 for Presidents’ Day. American National Bank will be open.For businesses that conduct ACH transactions, please keep in mind that ACH transactions cannot settle on Monday, February 20 and processing does not occur on the weekend.
To ensure payment by Friday, February 17, your ACH entries should be processed through iBank on Thursday, February 16, and dated for February 17. We recommend that you transmit the ACH information prior to 9:30 AM.
Any transactions initiated on Friday, February 17, will not settle until Tuesday, February 21.
If you initiate or request wires on Monday, February 20, they will be processed the following day, Tuesday, February 21, because the Federal Reserve Bank will be closed on Monday.

when youve been a person whos been on this site for years and have posted year after year after year yes , some of us know more than others…whats going on. willbeals comes along asks questions, and when he doesnt like the answers he gets he throws insults into the mix. he’ll be waiting till wed night at the very least and when hes tell others to go call irs and demand returns to be released or call tax advocates cause he thinks they can speed up the process of treasury deposits are absurd

Just confirmed. Yes fees were taken out in several of those cases.
Look, this isn’t up for debate. You two are on every thread like you are the IRS police. You don’t know any more then any of us do. This year has been proven to be very out of sorts, confusing and most definitely surprising. . While we all understand that Presidents’ Day and Sunday will definitely effect any federal banking business.. it does not effect what might be ‘already in progress’ for the people who have acts that are not held to federal regulations. So there is possibility for movement of that sort.
Go outside, take an aspirin. Who cares if you are right, who cares if someone wants to hold onto hope. It’s not about YOUI almost feel like you are the same person. 🤔

If the deposits hit today, yay! Happy dance!
If not, at least we have DDDs. We’re out of PATH limbo hell.If you dont like hearing people speculate, dont read the post. Simple as that. Because at this point in time that’s all it is. Speculation.
But to scream over and over that they’re wrong just shows assholishness tendencies and an overwhelmingly desire to exert control.

Call center will be open Monday due to the mess of this season. I am hoping for early release but extremely happy with having a date.. So if I don’t get it early at least I know around when I’ll get it..

for the last time…if anybodies getting dd in their accounts today its because their DDD is 2/22. ALL DD need to be sent out 2 biz days prior to that date, most of the depsoits send out were late thursday and friday, hence why some banks are pumping out money on cards today.
if your date is 2-23 theyll send out the notices and depsoits late night of 20th thru thru tuesday the 21st…at which time if you DO NOT have to go threw SBBT your get your refund within hours… BUT IF YOUR REFUND GOES THROUGH SBBT, THEY WILL NOT RELEASE FUNDS TILL VERY LATE NIGHT OF 22ND EARLY MORN 23RD.

I filed thru 1040.com with fees taken out by eps financial with direct deposit to my netspend card. Xxx is 2/22/2017. Will I see my refund deposited before that?

A lot of you need to do your research, if you filed through turbotax and your money is going through santa monica because you chose to have fees taken out of your refund, you will recieve your money the same day as you would get if it just went through your bank normally. Once TPG gets notice that your money is coming typically 2-3 days before it actually deposits, Santa monica covers that amount and will send it to your account.. and calling the IRS and “Demanding” you want your money now? Good luck with that one, please update all of us on how well that conversation goes. Everyone chillax, the money is coming, PATH delayed it, but there is nothing you can do, most of us have a DDD of the 23rd. Which is only next week. Chill

If they don’t do the ach or whatever on weekends, then what the heck is the point of them being open on Sat & Sun during peak tax season?!?? I’m guessing the do get them & send them we just won’t see them in our banks until Tuesday!! What is everybody’s thoughts on this??

If you have a DDD of 2/23 (like me) do not be surprised if SBBT doesn’t show your money there before 2/22. They’re usually release it the day before but it depends on your financial institution as to when they credit it to your account.
I bank will Wells Fargo and know for a fact they don’t release early. I’ll see it by 5:00am on the 23rd, but no sooner.

THAT MEANS PEOPLE THAT IT MIGHT GET TO NOTICE AT SBBT THAT THE DEPOSIT IT COMING AND THEN SBBT SETS UP YOURE INCOMING ACH TRANSFER TO HIT YOUR BANK NO LATER THAN DDD THAT IRS HAS STATED.
SBBT MIGHT KNOW TONIGHT IF THEY ARE GETTING YOUR FUNDS FOR THE 23RD TONIGHT , BUT THEY WONT TRANSFER THE FUNDS TO YOU TILL YOUR DDD

Just read that they send our money next business day weekends and federal holidays excluded. And that is only after they receive it
