      So I can order transcripts by mail but not by phone. When ordering by mail, the drop down box where you select what year. 2016 would be this current transcript for right now, correct?

          @confused

          It just means that you’re finally in the system but not yet processed. The acount transcript will update with different codes as your retun is being worked on. Keep an eye out for 846 (refund issued), which means your return is complete & refund approved. Transcripts update in real time throughout the day. Then you should be able to see your Return Transcript. Once that happens, WMR will give you a DDD at the next update.

            . First time even ordering transcripts. Lol. So this morning, acct transcript updated with 2016; however return transcript says N/A. Question is…acct transcript is all zeros on every line and has an “as of date” of 3-20-2017. At bottom it says no return filed. 🤔 What the heck does this mean?? 😑Thanks in advance!

                  Thanks. I am stuck on the dreaded 1541 code, although after calling the IRS yesterday, they say no letters, no review, nothing wrong, just stuck in the waiting line. I figured I would try for transcripts and wanted to make sure 2016 was the right one to order.

                    Usually if you can order account & return both, you are finished & should expect a DDD soon. That is how it always has been in the past, but this year….who knows! :)
