I’m just posting to help at this point…because all I’ve read over the last 2 was has just been assumptions.
Dont assume 05 means weekly. I’m 05 and transcripts updated yesterday and WMR this morning. Both with a ddd of 2/22
If you’re having trouble accessing transcripts. The only thing that worked was patience at the “due to high demand…” screen. Literally just wait on that page. You WILL get in. The page where u see the years, you will likely get that “due to high demand…” error. Wait there again. You WILL get in. I tried a million times yesterday and read someone did that and first try, it worked. Good Luck 😊 -

@Tifk most 05 cycle codes update Friday. Very few on any day as it states if you look up the cycle code information. Every year mine updates on Fridays.

I have a 766,768,810,420 . Beside the 420 is a date of 2-04-22 . What does the dates mean ?

Why would my transcript say filing status single instead of married filing jointly. It is lined with 290 code and 0’s.

@Newtothis
Your probably a daily
You know if your a weekly 05
If your transcript update Thursday night
Into Friday early hours.
WMR Will update Saturday or stay the same depending on if your process or what happens or doesn’t happen on transcript -

@AshleyH31
No babe that’s not the TC (Transcript Code) 420 they are talking about.
It would be where you see the 150 Tc for example in a row like this
150…… with amount tgen the date
766….
123
666
747
So the 420 isn’t the same as other posters. -

If my wmr was updated on a Tuesday and my cycle ends in 05, can I tell if I’m a daily or a weekly?

I just checked my transcripts and there is ZERO information for 2021.
I was accepted on opening day via turbotax. What’s going on?
I get the message “we apologize but it’s taking longer than usual to process your return ”
Can anyone give me some insight. I’m a pather…I am the same. I was accepted on 1/24. I did get the 5071c letter but I think I verified my identity. But like everyone else I cannot talk to a person to make sure.

Is the 420 its own line like the other codes? I see 420 here…. now I am scared…
Top line of ranscripts:
Code 150 Tax return filed Cycle 22020405 Date 2/14/2022 Amt $$
below tax return filed is this number
16221-420-22962-2 ….is this just my return”number” or does that 420 signal audit? -

I have a 766,768,810,420 . Beside the 420 is a date of 2-04-22 . What does the dates mean ?
This is when you have been pulled for potential audit!

That has to be the best abridged explanation I’ve seen for the codes in the 5 years I’ve been on this site. Kudos.
Over the years I have been able to gather info from all the people on here but that was a quick 5-minute run down of it and that is fantastic. -

True! When the IRS screens said wait/due to high demand, staying on the screen -without refreshing- was the quickest way to get in and pull up transcripts.

I feel like I am the only Cycle 20220405 person unable to access and no DDD! Ughh! I have tried waiting on the page, guess I will try again. I’m hoping it isn’t true what someone posted the other day about PATH test batchers being recycled in, and it delaying their return longer. don’t believe there is any issues with my return, unless I got flagged with claiming my daughter (my ex+ I alternate years, and he waived the advanced CTC since I would be claiming her this year so no issues there.)

@Kobe824 🤙🏾
I understand the frustration and hoping to find some hope in other people’s words. I’ve been saying this since last night and everyone was just ignoring me. I have a ddd. There’s no reason for me to be on here other than to help. Happy to do that. JUST LISTEN PEOPLE!! -

Thank you for sticking around to help! You are right that 05’s can be dailies. Congrats on your progress.
This is what we say about transcripts:
Grapevine Announcement 🍇
FUN FACTS ABOUT DAILY & WEEKLY ACCOUNTS (that we know from your cousin’s sister’s best friend’s uncle/daddy. Or, from reading the IRM.)
-New cycle codes are generated each year, based on several different factors.
-Cycle codes are related to the day transactions post to the IMF.
-Posting to the IMF does NOT mean updating on the Transcript or WMR.
-Whether you were daily or weekly last year will not, with certainty, mean you are daily or weekly this year. However, it can be a clue.
-Cycle codes ending in 01, 02, 03, 04 are absolutely daily accounts.
-Transactions on accounts ending in 01, 02, 03, 04 can post to the IMF on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.
-Cycle code ending in 05 can be either daily OR weekly.
-Transactions on weekly accounts ending in 05 can post to the IMF ONLY on Thursday.
-Transactions on daily accounts ending in 05 can post to the IMF on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.
-On a transcript, some transactions you can see, some you can’t. The IRS doesn’t show their whole hand.
-When transactions occur and post to your account on the IMF, MOST times you can see the transaction on your transcript the following day (transaction codes, like 570, 846, etc) and the WMR may update the next day (status updates, reference codes, deposit dates.)
-If your cycle code ends in 05, there is just about no way to know with certainty that you are either daily or weekly, unless you filed with an IP Pin (weeklies for sure) or someone from the IRS tells you. Good luck with that, you’d probably be told the wrong thing anyway by a rep. Hell, you might even get the wrong info from a Tax Advocate.
-If your cycle code ends in 05 you can only use clues to guess if you are daily or weekly.
-Dailies with an 05 and weeklies with an 05 just so happen to be posting together. They “share the day”, if you will.
-An easy way to remember the cycle of how things post and update is this:
Transaction Posts to the IMF on a day, the following day depending on the type of transaction…transcript might update, the following day…depending on the type of transaction that occurred, the WMR might update.
-If your WMR updates on Saturday you likely are a weekly account or you are a daily who shares the day with weeklies who didn’t update. This is disputed by many, but is the only thing that makes sense.
