I filed and got accepted on 1/28. My transcript is still unavailable and account summary says “no record of return”. How long does it usually take for transcripts to update?

I am unable to view my transcripts online, they say no return filed. However I was just able to order them by mail over the phone. Is that possible? Will they arrive blank? I have always viewed them online but never ordered them.

I filed 1/28 and viewed my transcripts 1/31. WMR went from 1 bar to path message today. Transcripts update throughout the day so keep checking and if you’re daily your WMR should update the day after transcripts are available.

I filed with h&r block 1/28. I was accepted the same day. Filed with EIC and CTC. I was able to call this evening around 8:15 p.m. February 1st and able to order my transcript to be mailed to me because I can’t seem to access it online it keeps telling me my information is incorrect. If I’m able to access my transcripts and have them mail does that mean my return has been processed? I wasn’t able to access mine online last year either so could not see any type of processing date. Can anyone advise? Thank you

In order to get the info that you need, you should look at the account transcript. I am also a 20190505 as well. the last two digits tells you what day you should get the refund on.

Hi! I filed and was accepted on 1/28 through my preparer. I believe I was a weekly last year as I got my refund on a Wednesday. My 2018 account transcript is there but it’s blank. I have no additional credits or anything. I’m new to the whole trying to look at transcripts game…lol. What does it mean when it’s there but blank?

I Filed 1/23, and Accepted 1/28. I was just now able to view my transcript. It isn’t competed yet, hoping to update tomorrow. I’ve read it usually takes about a week to get an update.

Tracey,
Make sure you are looking at your account transcript, the bottom will have a date on it. -

If my transcripts didn’t update overnight, could they still update during the day?

On the line where you find your 846 it should have a date.
I’m a weekly and mine updated this morning to 02-06-2019.
I have Netspend so mine should be on my card at 6pm today.
The cycle code means nothing really only if you are a weekly or a daily.

My return trascripts are completed with my refund listed but I do not see a processing date. Can someone tell me where to find that? I am a weekly so I assume from past years I will get a DDD of next Wed.

Haha I can understand that we all know how the government works, they work on their own schedule. Granted I give mad props to the IRS workers because this is not an easy time of the year for them. So here is to hoping that we get it before then. The only thing that I do know is that I am thursday deposit. Code 05.

@Christy
Same here. But I filed on 1/27 and was accepted 1/28 and was able to see Transcripts this morning. I read that people got theirs before the date showed on their transcripts. I am hoping for a 2/15 Deposit lol wishful thinking I guess. Good luck everyone!!

Good morning,
I have a friend that works for the IRS, I usually pump him for information regarding the tax season. I spoke with him last night about the transcripts and what the processing date means and all that jazz. He told me that it usually goes like this.
Once they are done processing the returns you get access to the transcripts, he says that it usually takes between 7-10 days sometimes faster if there is no delay. Once you get it, there is a processing date on there. You typically add 3 days to that day and that is day that you are going to get the return deposited to your account (meaning your DDD) I filed on 1/23 and was accepted the same day. I checked for my transcript everyday and I was finally able to see it today with a processing date of 2/18/19. I hope that helps. And I will confirm the DDD when i get it from WMR. Happy Tax Season!

They will update over the weekend usually after the big update on Saturdays. Some people update during the week but I’m thinking we should see transcripts by Sunday.
