Transcript Updates

Do transcripts update throughout the day? Or in the mornings?

Well… mine updates butt not what I expect. It says “We have received your return and it is being processed”. Which I pretty much had before but I lost my TT152. Refund amount still showing on the left. I was able to order my transcript last night. I had an address change and I ordered it under my new address, so I know mine has been processed, I’m a weekly so I won’t see another update until next week. I’m hoping that since my transcripts updated so late yesterday, that my WMR was not set to update with a DDD, but that it will deposit this week. We shall see…

Hey ya’ll, here is my update… so I filed 1/23, accepted 1/24 with Turbo Tax. I claimed EIC but not ACTC. I never received the PATH message, as I have in years past. I had 1 bar and TT 152 on WMR. I’m a weekly and on 2/9 I lost my bar and had the “Your return is processing” message with TT 152. I have tried several times today to order my transcripts but it kept saying my info did not match their records. I had an address change, so I knew once it accepted my new address, then I was more than likely processed. I tried at 7pm eastern time and no luck. I just tried again and it went through. I was able to order my transcripts. So I am hoping for an update to WMR overnight tonight. In years past, my WMR updated the day after my transcripts could be ordered. It’s movement, so I hope everyone else sees movement also. Also, keep trying periodically to order your transcripts. I will post an update tomorrow about my WMR!

I hope I’m wrong but I think us Pathers may update back to the original bar tomorrow. DDD probably won’t come until next Saturday. But I pray I’m wrong lol it would be great to finally have a DDD tomorrow

Same here! I’m just wondering if transcripts will even update Tuesday though because of the Monday holiday. Keeping my fingers crossed we get updates tomorrow so we don’t even have to worry about it lol

Yep….No 846 code… No update. I hope they both are updated when I wake up in the morning. If not, I’ll be watching another week for an update. 😭😭😭

If it didn’t help with timing the 846 dates would be wrong and they aren’t. Additionally if the dates are only meant for reference what good are they to even show up on there? I think they just put that as a disclaimer in case they are slightly off. I am also thinking this refers more to the processing date that everyone gets so worked up about and not the actual 846 date. When your transcript matches WMR it makes this statement on their website inaccurate.

“Will ordering a transcript help me find out when I’ll get my refund?
A tax transcript will not help you find out when you’ll get your refund. The information transcripts have about your account does not necessarily reflect the amount or timing of your refund. They are best used to validate past income and tax filing status for mortgage, student and small business loan applications, and to help with tax preparation.”

Yes, I agree with you!! FAQs would definitely help. It’s sad…….I don’t even call them anymore like I did in the past. I’ve basically taught myself how to read the transcripts so once again, if my transcript doesn’t update today (soon as very soon), my wmr will not update tomorrow. :-(

I’m hoping there’s a transcript update Tuesday for those of us with daily cycle codes. I’m 20190702. Not sure how that works though with Monday being a holiday. Might not be until end of next week.

I honestly can’t believe the IRS doesn’t put together a more comprehensive FAQ section addressing a lot of these questions etc. They complain about the call volume and are often times rude when you do finally get someone. A better communication plan would go a long way. They also should allow us to chose if we want text or email notifications when transcripts post or update and the same for WMR. This would pair down on the excessive logins too

For the past 2 years I’ve received my refund 2/21 (Pather) so I was really expecting to wake up tmrw with a DDD but when I tried to order my transcripts it won’t let me using my new address only with old address 😕 does this mean I won’t get a DDD tmrw ?

WMR will update before the 846 code sometimes

I been studying these things for the past few years…….LOL!!! When my transcript update, which is usually a Friday to the 846 code. My wmr updates the day after which is a Saturday to a ddd which is the following Wednesday or Thursday. So if it doesn’t update today for us pathers to 846 code today, we will not get a ddd or an update tomorrow. :-( I think they update throughout the day…so I’m waiitng for at least one or two pathers to say they got it. Fingers crossed until about 5:00. If not, I know I’ll be waiting until next Friday/Saturday for an update.

I’ve checked periodically today and nothing has updated so far. If they do update they aren’t touching us PATHers today 🤷‍♀️

I did see my refund info in my return transcript but it doesn’t provide a date or anything so I’m thinking it’s been approved I am just now waiting on a DDD

I’ve also seen people say 846 doesn’t always show up in their transcripts. I looked all the way back to 2014 and mine have showed the 846 code every single time. I’m just not sure if it posted before or after the DDD posted on WMR

I read somewhere I think igmr on fb that they update m process until 4pm but not sure how true this is
