      I checked my transcript this morning and it updated with code 971 with 0.00 amount.my refund is supposed to be 6522 but I owe 1754 to irs.is this a bad or good thing?I didn’t get a refund last year because they took it .any body else have an update with 971 code?

          Sorry I can’t read apparently, you said you owe. Maybe you owe more than you think, or maybe the $0 just hasn’t updated to your new amount. I wouldn’t worry yet.

            Just means they had to make a correction/adjustment to your refund amount. Maybe you owed money?
