I can order my account transcript as of last Thursday, I still can’t order my return transcript I was accepted 1/13 no special credits or anything just 1 w2 etc. my refund is only $1700, anything I need to worry about?

@mitzi I was able to pull all of my transcripts and have the cycle code as you do you fall under the path act? I do because of eic and actc but my transcripts do not show any code 846 (refund code) anywhere on them I am curious if anyone else has this or doesn’t. I have looked and seen where a couple others are asking the same thing but no answer. I wonder if it is due to the new law befause I thought at first maybe it just wasn’t finished but it has been the same for a couple days no.

@Will I answered in another post. But essentially the IRS is in the process of updating your info. When you have an information change like that, you get moved from Daily to Weekly processing generally for that tax year. You can request transcripts using your old info up until the system starts processing changes. Once that happens, you’ll be in limbo for a day until the new information is recognized by all of the systems. Try again tomorrow morning using your new information.

Does anyone know why when I try to order transcript it states info doesn’t match, I tried new and old address, this was 8pm yesterday. Yesterday morning about 1030am it allowed me to get through though with my old address and informed me transcript were not available for 2016..ive never had this happen in all my years filling.

@desiree I believe that it seems mine always updates on Saturday morning. I have always seemed to get my refund dates on Fridays. I think that I must be a weekly?????

Do you know what day you updated last year? Or did you order transcripts last year?

@Tam, that means you’re fully processed but they won’t deposit until after 2/15 bc of the PATH act. You won’t get a deposit until on or after the 15th. You may get a deposit before it shows two bars. Not sure since the PATH act is new this year. I just know you won’t get anything until on or after the 15th. But congrats, you’re done being processed. It’s just sitting there because of the new law to prevent fraud.

You should request your transcripts by mail and try ordering both return and account transcripts. If you are only able to order your account and not return transcripts your return has not finished processing. If you are successful ordering both just sit back and wait for a ddd unless you received the path message and you will not see anything else on wmr until after Feb 15th.

Like Desiree said if you can order your account transcript you are processing but if you can order both account
and return transcripts you are done processing. Now if you have received the path message and can order both transcripts you just have to wait until after the 15th of February to receive your refund due to the new law. You cannot get a current return transcript if they have not finished processing your return. Last year everyone who was able to order return transcripts shortly after received ddd for returns. -

I’m trying to request my transcript online but I forgot my password and it’s asking me for a financial account number, when I put my credit card information in it’s telling me it’s invalid when I know for a fact it’s not. What should I do?

Is that not the same if your have the Path act this year I’m guessing. Bc I have both transcripts already.

I think the consensus here is if you are weekly, the transcripts are kind of stalled right now. We will probably see them update tomorrow, friday, or saturday. Hopefully!

When you can order the account transcript you are still processing, when you can order your return you are finished processing and should get the next update for WMR the next day or two.

Someone else said that if you order when you’ve started to be processed but you’re not done yet, that’s what you’ll see.
Sounds plausible.
