First year claiming EITC (due to husband being deployed for the year and his income not being taxable, so only my income was counted)
Woke up this morning to the 1541 delay message on WMR.
Accessed Transcripts and showing Cycle 20190705
Shows processing date 3/4/19
Codes:
150 with date 3/4/19 amount $0
806 with date 4/15/19 amount is negative
766 with date 4/15/19 amount is negative
768 with date 4/15/19 amount is negative
570 with date 3/4/19 amount $0

What does all this mean? I read that 570 means some kind of offset, but we don’t have any – and the amount shows $0. Does this just mean it’s being held for the EITC credit we’re claiming? Any help figuring any of this out would be amazing.

@Ray – yes, that’s what it looks like.

@Delia – so if it shows 570 but the amount next to that is $0 that means nothing is being held?

Most just show your tax burden and refund credits 570 is anything being held your cycle date shows you as a weekly update

Your account balance further up on the transcript should show an amount. If it’s negative that’s a refund, if it’s 0.00 it’s either an offset or it’s not been updated yet. If it’s positive that means you owe.

If negative you mean like “-$2750” that means it’s an overpayment or credit for you. Being negative is what your refund will be.
