yep the transcript myth has been bogus myth for years, just like people claiming a rep told them this or that before its been 21 days. They wont even talk to you before 21 days they just tell you to call back.

Um that says “when” but you’re saying “whether”. World of difference between the two.

No, they can’t tell you “when” you’ll get paid. They just show whether you’ve been processed yet or not. Which can be useful information as long as its limitations are borne in mind.

went to order my transcript and it say address doesnt match??? it is a different address than previous year. however it is the address i listed on return??

Son filed this past weekend – Netspend notified today his refund is there
And today he could pull up refund transcripts

Myself, on the other hand, am still waiting because I filed the 14th accepted the 19th

If they aren’t recognizing your new address yet they haven’t finished processing your return.

While it is possible they’ve changed something this tax year (perhaps for the transcript hack last year) in prior years, being able to pull your transcripts did in fact mean that you were done processing and approved, and you would be able to get your DDD from the transcript. This year, the only information, if any, you’d gain from being able to order is that your return was complete, being that you’d have to wait for snail mail. That said, there are a lot of reports of people receiving deposits without the pizza tracker or transcripts updating. I think the whole system is bunk this year.

The IRS also tells people they cant pull up their info until 21 days but they have… They tell you what they want you to know.

Yet you cannot order it unless your taxes are complete and if and when you are able to order it. then common sense would tell you that your taxes have been processed.

I can only order account transcript to my old address but was unable to do so until today, is that a good thing ??

That’s probably listed on the website bc they do not want the system to overload…. However…I can tell you that information is incorrect. As already stated if you can read your transcript it will tell you if its on hold or if your fund was released. ?? Too bad we can not view them online now.. I’m sure a lot of people wouldnt have so many questions about their account. ✋ me for one.

the argument wasnt tge fact that theres no more online transcript. you havnt been able to do that since may, im saying that the batch code does show ddd. trust me, we have checked online transcipt for years, theyve nvr been wrong… boo

wrong. i can tell you from experience over the past few years that when your return transcript becomes available for you to order, you will get a DDD on WMR within 24-48 hrs. this may not be true for everyone but it has been for me the past 4 years.

True as far as a person receiving their refund. The transcript will also show those codes if refund is approved or not what letter code is sent. So the transcript will tell a person if you’re getting or not

That’s already been discussed. Being able to order it theoretically means it’s finished being processed, but it does not necessarily mean you’re going to receive your refund as expected.

It’s true once u are able to order both u are done. I’ve looked at them for years. Now they changed for this to year to mail only due to identity theft issues. Clearly shows ddd on transcript when it’s been processed. It’s how I’ve gotten ddd before wmr ever updated

Like I said go on the IRS site and look it up for yourself you are no longer getting the fax number you are no longer getting the date for a refund but of course you know

I got it off of the IRS site so go tell them that they are very wrong, and if you also notice you can no longer see your transcript online but go do your homework boo

You are very incorrect. The batch# does show what dd is going to be IF you can pull it. Till this yr ive been pulling transcript for YEARS and the batch code HAS always been spot on.
