Did anyone receive a code 570 and 971 but they owe no debt
I have codes 150,806,766,768 looked them up still don’t understand what they mean are they good bad any help
@jaysia it’s hard to say for sure, but there is a chance it will not take that long. I hope you get it sooner then you expect. Good luck!
hi i have one question i call the hold department cause i have a 570 code on my transcript they told me because i did not file the 2013 and i told i dont need to file for 2013 because i dont work that year at any time and i have identity theft for 2004 to 2014 they told me they look in to my account and said thats true i dont need to file for these year because the identity theft they realease my refund for 2016 and take 2 to 3 weeks you think is going to take that long or can come more early?
Im looking at my account transcript and it shows:\
150, 806, 766 and 768
It also says: RETURN DUE DATE OR RETURN RECEIVED DATE (WHICHEVER IS LATER) Apr. 15, 2017
PROCESSING DATE Feb. 13, 2017
What in the world does that mean? Can they not just be a little more direct?
Its a pdf file but it has every single code on it, you will have to scroll down until you see the hyperlink, then click on it
Bill has it right. Sometimes you get the 971 and the 570 together if you’ve been resequenced for some reason. That is just one reason to receive these codes. I will post a link below to a tax code booklet, if anyone wants to check it out.
the freeze could be to the path message
someone said it was some kind of offset but I dont have any
570 is a hold code freeze pending additional action and a 971 is a letter sent
I received. A 971 code but not a 570. Im trying to figure out what that 970 mean.
