No, it’s not crashed. It’s because people are flooding it by constantly trying to sign in and constantly downloading and re-downloading their transcripts.
It’s not an IRS or even a website issue. It’s a stupid people issue who don’t understand the internet works on allocated bandwidth and that every person and everything those people do on a website uses bandwidth.
It’s not actually down either, it is preventing new users in order to prevent crashing.
@Sle60…I told you it would work. Idk why people won’t listen to me. I’ve been saying this since last night.
I got in by waiting at the high volume screens. It eventually loaded.

Who knows. They had a scheduled down day for maintenance and since then it’s been more miss than hit. People are thinking it’s the traffic to the site that’s making it down, but you have a government website expecting it’s traffic. There’s system issues.
If you’re having trouble accessing transcripts. The only thing that worked was patience at the “due to high demand…” screen. Literally just wait on that page. You WILL get in. The page where u see the years, you will likely get that “due to high demand…” error. Wait there again. You WILL get in. I tried a million times yesterday and read someone did that and first try, it worked. Good Luck 😊
i have the same problem. I’ve had it tell me due to volume to expect delays and other times I get through the whole process of my password and the text code and then I get a message due to high demand you may have to wait longer… blah blah blah… it’s getting very frustrating
