I have been researching a ton, and this comes from MULTIPLE sources—including the refund cycle chart on this exact website. This is going to apply to almost everyone affected by the PATH Act. Be mad at me if you want but this is just the facts:

Daily cycle codes should update tomorrow, 2/19, with a DDD of 2/24.

Weekly cycle codes should update Friday, 2/21, with a DDD of 2/26.

This is not factoring in that some banks and institutions do release funds early, but this is going to apply to MOST people.

If you opted for the TurboTax “5 days early” deal, which I did too, I do not think that they will be able to honor that for us, but I could be wrong about that part—it’s still unclear and they’ve been kind of shady about that whole thing.

All in all, I would say to not expect to see any money until next week. It sucks but hang in there.

I think many of us with 2/24ddd will get our actual deposit today.

Mine goes into cashapp and every year it hits between noon and 1pm on a Friday before a Wednesday ddd.

So in theory we could have $ today with our Monday ddd.

I was weekly for years but looks like I’ll daily now with an 05 cycle.

Sonia you’re just lying, straight up, or confused. Literally everyone here on PATH either just for their 2/24 DDD or is still waiting. I’m pretty sure the IRS didn’t make a special exception for you sis. 😂😂😂😂

Everyone else, good luck! So far I’m not seeing any updates to WMR but not really surprised. Hopefully 5 days early works but not holding my breath for that at all. Seems it would be today or Friday for most people if it does. I haven’t heard a thing yet.

Filed and accepted 1/17. Fell into a special category of people they accepted prior to 1/27. Cycle date is 20250505 and code 846 is showing 2/24 DDD. My dates are always on a Monday and I received my DD on the Wednesday before around 1130p. I used TaxAct this year who uses Republic Bank. You can check their website refund status as well.

Updated with 846 code and refund date of 2/24. Filed with TT 1/27/2025 and chose the 5 day early deposit, which should mean deposit would hit 2/19….we shall see. Cycle code 20250504 – I have always been a weekly and this year I am a daily. Good luck everyone!

You can tell the 846’s just started dropping–the IRS website is nearly impossible to log into! Still trying… fingers crossed…

I’ve just gotten my 846 for 2/24–I also filed and was accepted really early—not sure if that makes a difference. We’ll see if the 5 days early thing works I guess. I’m actually a weekly so I’m pleasantly surprised.

People are now starting to get their 2/24 DDD so I definitely think what I said here is going to be spot on. 05 people are going to be 2/26 I think!

Sonia, I feel like you may be confused. Nobody on PATH has gotten a DDD yet. I follow multiple different sites and forums.

Heather, I have not seen a single person in any forum, anywhere with a DDD of 2/23–especially not anyone affected by PATH.

@Heather Cycle 05 is a weekly and typically doesn’t update until Thursday night with us being able to see updated transcripts on Friday. Wonder how you managed to get a DDD showing as a weekly?

Kind of seems like the 5 days early option has been a complete disaster. I haven’t read anybody say anything positive about it. Take that with a grain of salt because people seem to think the Treasury Department is holding on to their money for……. Reasons I guess.
