We have way too many people who haven’t even received their Income Tax Refund but most of the messages now are about Stimulus Payments. If you’ve already received your Tax Refund you really should have gone to the very back of the line for Stimulus Payments. Please create another board for that. There are a lot of people who need assistance with Tax Refunds. Thank you.

&have had no update whatsoever on it since then, never received a letter or anything, when I called back in mid february to the IRS all they said was it was in review & they needed nothing from me….
Here I am 3months later still waiting…
I contacted my local congressman & he asked for several paperwork for him to help me out hopefully he does..

I get that it’s so frustrating to see people who got their refunds now complaining about the stimulus payment when some of us haven’t gotten either. Filed on 2/3 and majorly struggling. Unfortunately, can’t change that that’s just what people are going to do.

I feel the same way, there are allot of people that have received their taxes, back in Feb/Mar, have also received their stimulus. But also allot of people are still waiting on taxes and stimulus. You have to scroll through a bunch of stimulus payment threads just to find somebody that might be in the same situation as you.

Oh, give me a break, Momof7! I’m sorry you haven’t gotten your refund yet. There are still several threads that people are participating in that regard refunds — particularly the 60-day Review thread. You can still read through those threads, and hopefully you’ll get some help there. No one is making you read through threads regarding the economic impact payment. Feel free to scroll past.

However, while reading and posting here may help with filers with information and possible steps to take, the amount of posting here HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT THE IRS DOES. We could post or not post, and it won’t make any difference.

That said, I feel you’re technically wrong. The “stimulus” actually IS a form of tax refund. It’s an advance payment of credits on your 2020 income tax return. So it’s actually appropriate to discuss it on this board. But you don’t have to.

No refund f/a 3/3 IDV on 3/20 wmr changed from Still processing to we have received ur return and it is being processed on 3/26 can’t see my transcript have no idea what’s the hold up can’t take to no one I believe it’s holding up the stimulus also idk what’s going
