White House comments states from yesterday the following:
March 12th through 15th first deposits are made
March 15th through 31st remaining direct deposits will be made and some checks mailed
April 1st through 15th checks and cards arrive

So once again my GMP hasn’t changed from “deposited on the 17th” and I still have nothing. Chime still tells me they haven’t received anything even though the DD number is the same as my chime account number. Anyone else having this problem??

I called the IRS today to verify my ID and after completing that I asked about my stimulus. The rep said that since my 2020 taxes were flagged for the ID verify it postponed my stimulus, so now that my 2020 taxes are unflagged I should see my stimulus in 2 -3 weeks. I’m hoping it comes sooner than that but I was glad to get some type of answer.

Today Get My Payment finally updated and said they’ll be mailing it to me on the 26th!

Kind of strange because I received the first 2 by direct deposit, and my GMP has ALWAYS just said “Payment Status Unavailable”.

I don’t know why they’re mailing it to me instead of direct deposit, but if yours hasn’t come yet maybe they’re doing the same thing to you! It may just come in the mail

I’m trying to be patient about this stimulus but it’s so frustrating. IRS says it deposited it to chime on the 17th but Chime just giving the run around. No updates or changes on the GMP site. I just hope it doesn’t end up being “lost”. Also filed my taxes and received them to chime so there is no reason why the stimmy shouldn’t go there :(

If IRS tracker saying DD date of March 24, Chime should drop them earlier than Wed., like last week. Unfortunately they didn’t do it yesterday like last Friday. I “think” that Chime will start depositing funds again on Monday…a few people posted that they got a deposit yesterday, but not many. I suspect those deposits were ones that had some sort of issue like joint account or something. Don’t really know lol…I am just hoping it comes soon for all of us!!!

I can help you breathe a little easier by telling you that if they receive a deposit (so the rep told me) and it does have a joint party, they will attempt to email you requesting these documents before they reverse it. Once documents are sent, it takes about 24 hours to process. IRS tool has been down for me all week. This is week 2 since I filed and my status has only changed 3 different times. I’m hoping this info helps as i am a new user to chime.

For those of us who are married and you filed joint taxes, send a support message to [email protected]. You need to send a copy of front/back of both parties IDs & tax return showing both names. So, chime does not do joint and the only way they will cash a joint check, or return is if they have a specific request, each time, from the account holder with all necessary information.

Rec’d 1st and 2nd stimulus direct dep through Chime really quick, as well as my daughter who receives SSI so it’s like I have had four timely deposits and now BS on tracker, IRS nor sending batches through quickly like in past! Ugh. They did change tax due date from April 15 to May 17 so maybe that will free up IRS workers a bit. It’s all automated though!!! Just press a few buttons and send out our money! Lol.

It seems everyone who has filed their 2020 taxes hasn’t gotten their stimulus. I filed my 2020 taxes in February received my DD refund literally one week later. I was in the very first DD batches with #1 and #2 but GMP says Payment Status Not Available for #3.
I bank with Chime. My husband has not filed his 2020 taxes and he was in the first batches with #1 and #2 and #3. He banks with Chime.

Re: Zeke’s comments…those payments going in at 8:30 a.m. EST are the payments from last Friday that major banks have been “holding” and choose not to distribute ahead of time. No info in that article about more funds being distributed from IRS. We (Chime acct holders) will just have to continue to wait until IRS sends out another batch. Hopefully very soon since the first batch distribution will be complete today, 3/17.

Supposedly irs will release most direct deposits at 830 a.m est time tomorrow 3/17. So I don’t think even us chime users can get it before then, apparently the ones that have gotten it were part of a test batch. Makes sense. So we should have deposit tomorrow morning after 830. I got half of my 3rd stimulus check on Friday and it’s now 3am Tuesday morning and still waiting for the other half. Both stimulus checks came in on 2 transactions. My bad…used wrong terminology…when I said “worked on” I meant being processed. Sorry for the confusion. Because I work as a private caretaker in my home for my daughter, my income is not taxable. I used the “non-filers” portal for the initial $1200 payment and had no issues. I also received the $600 payment within 48 hours of the Bill being signed. There have been no changes in my circumstances so really at a loss as to why my payment delayed and/or being processed by IRS.

I’ve been watching my Chime card but for some reason they put my Stimmy on my old HRBlock card then removed and finally it showed up on my new card they sent me. none of my stimulus payments or my refund was sent to that card recently so it was good I checked…. the Get My Payment said the 17th but it came in about 2 hours ago

Yes the Payment Tracker says that for me as well…read the reasons why it can say that and you will see it’s not that bad. I had a bad message with first stimulus and received it no problem, and the tracker the IRS was using never updated my info. First thing it says is that is may not be updated because it’s being worked on. FYI

I tried to call chime to see if they were holding the other half for any reason but cant get to a live agent. It doesnt make sense. I got the first half on saturday morning. Get my payment says my deposit day is the 17th. I’m really not sure what to do next.

FOR ANYONE THAT DOESN’T RECOGNIZE BANK ACCT LAST 4 DIGITS…… I had this proble with 2nd stimulus, had different acct on file then, but because I used Turbo tax, they have a system set up where your direct deposits from IRS go to their acct first, then routed to yours for some reason. But I did get my money in the acct I expected, but I was freaking out also…. hope this helps some of you.

And one of the first comments there was someone asking about the 4 account numbers not matching up … Did you make sure that you were going by the account number and not the actual debt card number ? The 17th is the official date for stimulus to b deposited. People who are getting them already most likely have chime or another non traditional bank and get deposits early. We just wasn’t one of the lucky ones to get it already. You may b right though about the 2019 tax people getting theirs before the 2020 people.

My S/O filed the same day with TT and has a non-Chime account, and his correct banking info is listed for the 3rd stimulus. Very frustrating. This happened to me with my 2 stimulus payment go to your paperwork that you received when filing your taxes the last 4 will be there account number then they will transfer to your personal account they have on file. Not sure why it happened to be last time around but I was also freaking out just review your paperwork you’ll see it then maybe you can contact them and see when they will send it over for me it went to HR block on Jan 4 by evening time on Jan 6 it was in my account

My niece got hers this morning on a green dot card, and my daughter who has a chime has not got hers yet. Not sure if this matters, but my niece has not filed her taxes yet, whereas my daughter has filed and received her refund already. Maybe the IRS is getting those that haven’t received a refund yet first. Just a thought. I didn’t qualify for a stimulus this time due to the cutoff income limit, but I agree with it as those hit the hardest are those that have limited income.

Many of us have the same date. At first I was putting in my information completely…for example I spelled out South however it gave me an error message. Then I changed it to look exactly like the address printed on my W2 and it gave me my date for the 17th. So guessing between today & Monday.

Quick question my parent’s 2020 tax return is still being processed and they claimed me a dependent last year. It’s all really random to be honest. There are different IRS processing offices all over. They are all given for example a different area of the country to process. The same office that did your 2019/2020 tax return will process your stimulus.

Time Zone / where you live literally will have zero to do with when you will get your $. For example my coworker and I (same company same Dept) both use Chime and she always gets her paycheck approx 3 hours before I do.

All my family got theirs one prepaid netspend card one is through turbo tax and me chime who got it first usually the last 2 times still no stim hopefully its just delay from the deposit issue thats now resolved. But also I hope that dont cause the whole deal like it did the 2nd with turbo tax all the deposits got rejected.

CHIME Direct Deposits have been down since 1430 PST so that is 2:30pm in Cali. 3:30 MST, 4:30 CST and 5:30 EST, according to their website it is still down. CHIME has MILLIONS of members so this is NOT surprising at all. I am sure there are people just waiting on their regular paychecks and are stressed out, cause right now there are more people than ever living paycheck to paycheck.

Garnishment is only if its from court. If its not court issued it wont be garnished. Im in Cali chime user nothing yet. I was also one of the ones caught in the turbo tax issue. Hope its not stuck in that limbo again

I am in Illinois no deposit yet. Got my Tax Return weeks ago. The IRS Stimulus Tool will Say 4/15 for basically everyone because that’s the general date they are telling people who will get it via DD. The last 4 years I got my Tax Return LONG before the WMR updated. Same with the stimulus tools this past year. IRS tools LAG so so so much. My bet a lot of us will have it by Monday! Hang tight!!
