Theory for 21 days

Just a theory, accepted 2/13. As of date on transcript (2/22). Is it possible that is when they started processing my return and my 21 days starts from there? If so it would put me at a 3/17 ddd with updates this weekend and would put me right in the 21 day time frame from 2/22 (not the 2/13).

Can anyone verify their as of date while their transcripts were NA? I went to still processing a week after my as of date of my transcript.

People don’t understand the IRS As of and processing dates. They move the date into the future (postdate) it. If they open the account to look at it (maybe process it, maybe just look at the AGI) on 3/11, then the account will register an As of date of 3/29 (or maybe even 4/5). If they process it on 3/11 and give a DDD, then the transcript will say something like:

150 Tax return filed 20211005 03-29-2021
….
846 Refund issued 03-17-2021.

I live in Texas across the street from the irs building in Austin. Their power never went out. They are a federal building. 99% of refunds are processed by software. So then using the storm as an excuse would be a whole lie lol

Mine has 2/22 but here is the kicker….i didnt file and get accepted until a day later 2/23 so i have no clue man smh just discouraged….

I have read so much about 2/10-2/15 filers not getting uploaded and being caught in the snowstorm mess in Texas where the hub shut down- I have read reddit threads – it’s just so odd. If there were glitches with look back or stimulus it would affect every acceptance date, not just those who were accepted in this time frame.

I’m also not sure how they decide who goes to what processing center. But I feel like this it what happened. I also feel like we are slowing being added to the system and out as of date has to do with when we were uploaded and our 21 days start from there.
