I just thought I’d say a few words to those of you who are worried. My best friend has been working for the IRS in our local Kentucky office for the last 7 years. I have been coming on this site for the past 3 years. I showed it to her for the first time tonight. She broke it down just like this. If your return was filed by 1/27 you will in fact receive your refund by 2/25. Bottom line stop worrying and wondering. It’s rightfully your money and it’s coming. Just sit back and chill the hell out. That’s all she had for me but she did say she would look into eta DDD for the folks who filed after 1/27 tomorrow. And if you don’t believe me I really don’t care.

@noworries you are obviously concerned about your tax refund to because you wouldn’t be on this forum and asking questions. And far as you saying we are broke and just waiting for a tax refund, you are way off just because we are waiting on our money that we are entitled to and money that was taking out of our checks every single pay period that doesn’t make us broke. We just want our money just as bad as you want yours some of these people are depending on this money they may have fell on hard times or anything could have happened and they need the money so stop making it like you are so rich and we are beneath you. You are a CLOWN and need to look at your self in the mirror before you judge us. maybe you and the little guys in your head can come up with a way to make more money and stop trolling the internet.

This was never really meant to be offensive. And if you have a problem with it move on. I personally think it’s pretty sad that a bunch of grown folk set around plotting and planing on money they haven’t got yet. And tbt maybe if you income tax junkies would put all you broke heads together you could come up with a way to make more money and not have to be fearful and worried about the scrapes the IRS gives you. This will be my last post. If you got offended the. You are a weak and sad individual and deserve to wait until this time next year for your refund.this is problem with America . I think we all know the money is coming. Nonetheless, we enjoy discussing it with each other while we wait. A stranger telling everyone to chill the hell out isn’t going to change that and isn’t particularly helpful at all. Hell, the standard 21 day message is more useful, lol. But, thanks, I guess.

Thing is, it’s not even true. Some of us will still run into trouble, in which case we may not see any money before the 25th. Otherwise, I don’t think it’s a common worry that the money won’t come in at all ever, more that it won’t come in on or just after the 15th, so the info here is nothing groundbreaking.

And not for nothing, there are enough people “wondering and worrying” that an entire website was devoted to it. You must’ve known this wouldn’t go over well. That’s not softness, that’s an aversion to ridicule.

@Ellie There is a difference between facts and being rude so apparently you seems to think it is ok to be rude. This site is not set up for that kind of behavior. There are some people on this site that is waiting on THEIR money. The post was rude to begin with and the response too point blank.
