Thanks for choosing turbotax email

TT user should be getting this email today if you had fees taken. I know because i got the info

@Jen AGREE… that is the correct email to look for when your refund is in the depositing stages. Now previously for me my return had posted to my bank account before I got the email. It then came like the next day or so. Even when I got the “Thank you for using TurboTax” email in January, I didn’t get my refund until May 28 last year. The year before I got my return the same day as the “Your Refund Is On It’s Way” email.

Basically, it is coincidental for those that received their refund near the time the “Thank you for using TurboTax” but it is not an indicator of your refund being deposited soon or was deposited.

Not to be a downer, but after some research, I read that it is just a courtesy email that we receive 2 weeks after we filed. I have read that some people do indeed get their refund soon after.

Bump because I didn’t use Turbo Tax so obviously no email for me lol… but I’m watching this thread anyway because it would be good news for me too if there’s evidence of progress….

I received that email on the 22nd of feb last year but I got my money on the 21st I just check my email

it just says:
Thank you for using Turbo Tax to get your biggest refund. Then it has the login button. This is the email you are talking about, correct?

I checked with sbtpg and it has nothing yet.

I received the email from TT last year AFTER my money was deposited in the bank! So sometimes it’s just best to check your banking app first. Good luck everyone!

Lancy, if it says Thanks for using TT..it means you will have your money tonight or Friday. MAYBE AS LATE as Saturday. So its a good sign. My Daughter just had that same thing happen. Next day she had her money.

Does Turbo Tax update their site? It still doesn’t show the State refund that I received days ago. I did the free version so no fee’s to wait for.

I am also a PATHER with both EIC and ACTC. I used TT and had fees taken out so I will be watching for the email as well! Fingers Crossed!

Yes when you get that email you should up date on wmr that day or the next night.
