Test Batch

I will fall under path act so not expecting anything until after mid Feb.. but..
I’m reading horror stories of people from previous test batches!? Is it really bad to be in the test batch?

  PATH returns DO get selected for early batch testing. I have been the last few years, and still get my return before Feb 25th. Now that I said that, I won’t get it until April this year.

  I filed 1/13, was accepted today. Filed through TT and with no credits.

  PATH affected returns can and do get accepted in the test batch. Once processed the refund is then held until the chosen date (generally mid February).

  My return was accepted today, so I believe that means I’m in the test batch, and I am PATH. Maybe not?

  Issues can happen but it’s rare. I’ve filed in early January for 5 years and have never had a problem. I don’t think PATH affected returns get selected for test batching anyways.
