Taxes accepted on 2/1. STILL being processed. Any info out there?

I’m seeing a lot of EIC and 152, along with some self employed issues. I have both of those going on. Has any one heard anything about this? I’ve already received my state return but nothing about federal. I am actually on hold right now with the hopes it’s a human that answers. If I find out anything I’ll update this post.

If it says “Still being processed” your either under review, missing information that they require, or you need to ID verify. Basically it’s a long wait and the IRS isn’t going to do much but just tell you to wait for a letter to arrive in the mail.

So it’s a random review, yet every self employed person I know is being told the same thing. Wow.

Darlin there is a whole forum group of people who filed in January and have yet to receive a refund. Check them out for a little bit of camaraderie. Try the 60 day review forum..or any that have the code 0705 listed in the topic header.
