      I filed this morning and had to log in to see if i was accepted or not. For some reason, I’m not getting email or text notifications like I did last year. Anyone else have this issue?

      Note: I am using the same email address and phone number.

          Hi All,

          Been using Taxact for 5 years. I just filed today 1/29/18 and am waiting for IRS acceptance email.

          After reading these comments, I see that I am not the only one. I have EIC so I wont see any refund before 2/15/18

            I just got a text from taxact at 2:55pEST I filed two days ago lol smh so yeah I think it’s just running a little slow this year

                Long time user. Filed 1/22. Received email from TA and IRS the next day.

                  Hey. You’re not the only one. I have been using TaXACT since 04 and always got an email the very least. Did not get any indication that I was accepted by the IRS. I randomly checked the IRS website and found out I was accepted.

                    I kept checking the Check My Status on TaxAct website but 5 days letter have not received any email status updates. I think tbat feature is disabled.

                      Update: I called and they said their website is on an overhaul. Even workers haven’t received their update notifications.

                        @R4ce How slow is a tad slow for you? It’s been many hours and I’ve still not received anything. How long did it take for you to receive your notifications?

                          I have used TA for many years. This year for some reason their notifications are a tad slow, but not terrible. Just be patient.
