Three hours ago, TaxAct made a Facebook post concerning the stimulus payments. They have said that because they don’t have information on the temporary accounts, they cannot help their customers get their checks and they must apply for the credit. Needless to say, customers are up in arms in light of HR and TT working with the IRS to rectify the situation. So unless they get enough pressure, it looks like we don’t have a hope of getting a check before our return.

New email from Tax Act! IRS should reverse course, send the funds back to Republic Taxpayer and forwarded to our accounts. If done early this next week, our funds should be delivered this upcoming week!!! Hopefully, early on! Break a leg, everyone!

I just received another email from TaxAct that states more info on timing of payment should be provided later today. Fingers crossed!

and they wont get that pressure applied either because you never hear anything when it comes to taxact i just think they are not as popular and they are always last when it comes to tax refund deposits too
