Ok. Filed w TaxACT for the 7th year straight. This year it asked for my DL number. Filed 1/23 accepted 1/23.
Had one bar with TT 152.
On 2/4 WMR changed to “still processing message with no TT
As of 2/17, no letter.Any one else in this same position?? I plan to call early Monday morning.
I have never had an issue with my return. I always have a DDD by day 21 if not the DD itself.

I filed 1/20 accepted 1/23 with taxact. I been using them for 7+ years with no problem till now. I still cannot order my return transcript. I have not recieven any letter. My statuse changed last week from still processing to still being processed. I have not called the irs. Seems like no one is getting answers when they do call. I did enter both our licence information. I never received the path message and we have 2 qualifying kids. I’m ready to start pulling my hair out. My state is being deposited 2/28.

I have always been asked for ID on TaxACT and TaxSlayer but they claim that it would have no bearing on your return if you did not enter it but I have always entered my ID

Filed 1/23 with taxact. Submitted drivers license info. Bars disappeared 2/4 with generic your return is STILL being processed. Called 2/13 at the 21 day mark was told I had to ID verify (not like I hadn’t already submitted my ID info?!?!). The rep sent the letter out while I was on hold. Received letter today 2/23. I have to verify in person. Next available appointment is 3/6 (bang head here). I was one of the people on a couple other forums discussing if this may be a taxact problem. I’m just at a loss this year and completely frustrated.

I filed with Taxact for 2nd year in a row. No problems this last year. This year no updates forever. Got letter asking for Form 8962 and 1095a for ACA coverage. It didn’t even ask me about that when I used their online software. Now I’m screwed. Faxed in the info on 2/16 and no updates.

Same situation. Used TaxAct free like I have e the last several years, filed 1/23, accepted 1/24′ “still being processed” since 2/4, nothing about my filing status/dependents/etc. I saw a similar topic a few weeks ago, mentioned TaxAct, etc. Talked to IRS Tuesday and was told my return was pulled for further review. No letters have been mailed, they’re not asking for additional information.
I’ve see this situation discussed many times over the last several weeks, and using TaxAct has been the common denominator.

Well good luck with those transcripts. I really hope something magical happens on your account soon. I’ll let you know here as soon as I see some movement. I’m pretty sure I’ll see a good update this Saturday. Fingers crossed!!

@ on edge
I filed and was accepted on 2/06. I’m not sure if I’m a weekly or daily. I tried ordering transcripts on line yesterday – when it came time to enter cell #, it came back that the account wasn’t associated with my name – don’t know why because I’ve had the account in my name for about 20 years! So, had to order by mail. But was able to order both return and account. So I wait…

@ Denise
WOW… just WOW. This really irks the sh*t out of me. I don’t know of any other software that asks you to enter your DL# so why they chose this year to be all fancy is beyond me. Are you a weekly or daily? I’m a weekly and it sucks. Please please PLEASE let me get some good news on WMR this Saturday. I tried to order a transcript last Friday which is something I have never done, and I’m thinking I may have jinxed myself by doing so. BTW… I filed and was accepted (supposedly) on 2/11/2017. UGH!!

@ on edge – funny you should say that! Same thing here! Did my own and just put my license info in, not my husband’s. I did returns for other family members and put in both husband and wife and everyone else has gotten their refunds. I used TaxAct.

Just wondering if you’ve updated or anything. I filed with Taxact as well and it asked for my driver’s license and so I entered that information. This was a joint return and I didn’t put in my husband’s driver’s license. I feel 100% certain this license crap is what has screwed up my return. I have filed with taxact since 2011 and I have never ever had any delays. I did a couple of returns for family using freetaxusa and they didn’t ask for the license# and guess what!!!! All 3 of them have received their deposits and I did all of our returns on the same day.
