Tax return still being processed

Also I haven’t gotten my second stimulus or third stimulus.

Does my taxes have to be finished processing before the 3rd stimulus is sent?

On my return I put a debit card for my return to be dd into.

Will I get my stimulus by check or dd?

It seems to me the irs does what it wants to do.. even if it is right or wrong… I have been on still being processed for over 2 weeks now and when I call they see no problems with my account.. so if they have no problems why won’t they give me my money..

My 2020 taxes are “still being processed”. My 2019 bank was closed. 2nd stimulus was sent to closed account, then returned to IRS and then sent via check. 3rd stimulus is showing as being sent to the same closed bank account.

I’m seeing it as a hit or miss on which bank account the stimulus is being sent to. No idea what causes one over the other though.

@molly when was your return accepted?

Mine was accepted 3/1

I had a tax topic 152 and now it changed to topic 201.

My first stimulus came via check.

New Bank account for dd on tax return. It is still processing but got the 3rd Stimulus on the new bank account. Hope this helps.
