Tax Offset & SBTPG

Hi!

I have a tax offset that shows up as it’s been paid when I check WMR.I have the following message:

The balance of your refund, $xxxx.xx, is scheduled to be sent to your bank by January 31, 2018. If your refund is not credited to your account by February 5, 2018, check with your bank to find out if it has been received.
Please wait until February 5, 2018 before you contact us again as we are unable to take any further action until then

So, I know it says that the balance is scheduled to be sent on 1/31….but in the past has anyone had this and there ended up being a delay in their refund? Also, once it hits SBTPG, how long until the taxpayer actually has the money?

@Angie I also have an offset (Topic 203) but mine just says may be taken, but no amount. I have a DDD for 1/31 as well. I’ve heard there won’t be a delay in getting the remaining balance (what they didn’t take) of your refund, so you should get it Wednesday.

I’ve never used refund now so I guess we’ll have to see.
