      So, when I checked WMR today it said my entire refund was to offset. When I called the people I owe the money to they said I only owe half of my refund. I have no other debt. Has anyone have had this problem? Am I still going to get the rest back even if they say I won’t?

          Yes. Call the Treasury Dept. Ask for the dept that offset your refund, if you don’t know already. Contact the collections agency with the dept and they will tell you how and when you will be getting the remainder. Most likely they will issue you a check. I just found where my refund went today. Was supposed to get it a week ago. IRS rep told me that something is going on with their system this year and they are accidentally sending entire refunds when only a portion is required. I spent days trying to contact the dept that had the offset. Now it will take several weeks to get the check. IRS’s fault. Sorry you gotta go thru it too.
