Tax Advocates do they actually help?

Filed 1/23 still nothing. I called on my 21st day and I needed the obamacare bs forms. Funny never got a letter but whatever.
I got assigned an advocate case number. Had it since saturday afternoon. Never heard from them called today and was told I am slated to be called tomorrow. I need to fix some leaking pipes under my home which are damaging my home as I type this.
Omg do i need help!
Has anyone had a good experience with an advocate to give me a little hope?
I guess I want the horror stories too….

I haven’t actually used one myself, but I’ve seen many people who have. It seems like if they feel you have a true hardship they do help. Some people say they are rude, but most people are happy with them.

Most people say they get things done that were suppose to take more than 6 weeks done in 1-2.
