So I FINALLY spoke with my advocate today after being evicted from my home, and she said all they needed was the W2 from my current employer because it never got filed.

      My questions are this…
      1) Why the F**K couldn’t the IRS tell me they needed something in the two months I’ve been waiting.
2)For those of you who have had a similar experience, how long after submitting a w2 did you get a DDD
      3) Since it’s been so long, Taxslayer has told me they will be billing me directly on April 12 if my money hasn’t come by then. If that happens, will I get a full DD or will I get a check mailed?

      Any help is appreciated.

Follow just means they will call you to provide a status. The TA is supposed to help but honestly they have been just as bad as the IRS. I have just decided that my refund is going to be in my account on 4/12. I prayed about, I claimed and saved it on my calendar. I filed 2/5 and have got nothing but the runaround. I just found out that requesting an advocate pits a temporary halt to your process. Then it starts again. The 12th of April will be one month since my TA was assigned and requested my refund to be released. I’m praying for all of us because we all have situations going on and need this money to take care of somethings.

@AC I’m basically in the same position. I filed 1/29 and accepted the same day. Never heard anything and called IRS about a month ago. Was told income was off by $33 and i needed to amend. Called a TA who has basically been non-responsive and doesn’t return calls. Another TA called me back after leaving messages at the general number. She said NOT to amend and that a release had been requested 3/14. Still no movement or follow-up from TA. I too have a hardship and am in court. According to my last conversation with the TA not assigned to my case my case is due for a follow-up tomorrow. Not sure what that means but my return says still processing.
