      Can anyone tell me what exactly they do and how long it takes for the hardship? I faxed in my 1040X form and added the wages on it. I can’t seem to get through to the office for any kind of update

          No , i had a job for 2 weeks and had 10 dollars federal tax withheld. I didn’t report that W2 on my refund and because of that irs has more income than what was reported so I had to amend my return including that income and was given a tax Advocate and case number. I was suppose to be called by today and as of now still have not received my phone call and can not get through to them either.
