Hey I see all info abt fees being taken out of refund,sent to wrong acct. I am confused cuz when I looked at my return it says my boa info on it, but I kno I got tax act to take my fees out. Can anyone offer clarity?

Anyone with TaxAct get a deposit? Expecting to do it with tax filing but being optimistic also.

Rejected and Returned to the IRS by republic bank. IRS agent says about 5 weeks for a paper check. Thanks republic bank.

It looks like even if your GMP shows your bank account, it is still very likely that your deposit was sent to the third party bank and sent back to the IRS. My transcript has shown no amount and no direct deposit date. However, I got my first payment DD on April 15th, though my transcript said something like April 23rd. I hope this means that I will get the check before the January 18th date on my transcript.

@tiffg thanks so much for that info! Mine was sent back to the IRS also! Hopefully it doesn’t take them long to issue a check!

Just found out mine went to Republic. You can check by calling 866-581-1040. Te automated system just asked for my SSN and then let me know due to an error mine was sent to a closed account but has already been returned to IRS.

I bank with BOA too. Refund Issued date of 1/4 too. No deposit. First stimulus went through no issue. Get My Payment has no status for my second stimulus but under my husband’s info says he has a check being mailed on 1/6. Republic says unless you see an account with the last 3 of your SSN and a zero at the end then it did not come to them. Not sure where are refunds are but we are all in the same boat.

You should be fine unless you see an account that shows the last 3 of your SSN and a zero at the end.

I checked my transcript and shows DDD of 1/4. I am wondering if mine got rejected as well as I also had my fees taken out with TaxAct. I also bank with BOA. I had no issues with the first stimulus payment. I am unable to check my status as apparently I have to wait 24 hours to check status.
@Dgribb any infor from the IRS?

I feel republic bank should have tried to facilitate the transfer instead of rejecting but I understand why. They don’t get a dime in fees for the transfer and have to deal with complaints of lost checks, accused of holding people’s money. They also have to have call center reps to deal with thousands of calls only to hear people upset etc.. and they have to pay for all those expenses

For the first time ever I had fees taken out from republic bank. On hold with IRS but now I’m about 99% sure that my stimmy was rejected back to IRS.
