Tax Act Republic Bank Stimulus???

Has anyone who used tax act and had fees taken gotten a dd? When I called republic Bank last week all I could get was the generic message that my money was sent back and the irs would mail a check. But now I see others getting dd and wondering if tax act is doing anything to help its customers

Yes, still waiting. Taxact said today they are fixing it. But when???

They are working with the IRS to try to get the money to us as soon as possible, according to messages from their social media team. We should hopefully hear something Friday.

One of the issues that they are finding out is that some banks held the deposits rather than sending them back as required, and at the approval of the IRS, they sent those payments to people. However, Republic did what was required by law, which may be part of the hold up.

I used TaxAct and had fees taken out and nothing as of today. I just received an email from TaxAct that they are working with the IRS to get this resolved.
