Amount on the left side of the screen disappeared.

I filed through TaxAct as I have done for several years now. Both my fed and state returns were filed and accepted within minutes on the 3rd. I have been on one bar and TT 152 on the fed site since the 4th and the state only acknowledged processing since the 7th. Our returns were straightforward, standard deduction, no EITC or other special credits. I cannot order transcripts for this year.

I suspect that it will be as it was last year, that is, a little over 2 weeks after filing for our fed, maybe a week to 10 days for state. If anything comes sooner, it will be a pleasant surprise. Later, not totally unexpected.

              FIled with taxact 1/20
              1/23 Federal Accepted
              1/24 state accepted
I saw a bar, then it disappeared
CTC, no ACTC or EIC, no path message or any other message, no letters

As of today the message did change. Use to say just processing. Today it says “we have received your tax return and it is being processed”.

I can see account transcript but it is blank. Cannot see 2016 return transcript.

Used Tax Act, never any issues before, filed and accepted 1/23 “lost bars” and went to still processing on 1/28. Unable to order return transcripts.

Filed jointly, EIC or ACTC, I do have a CTC though. No letters in the mail yet.

Wifes’ is at one bar but I was primary person that filed so it only seems to matter what it says for that person.

                  Tax Act filer
                  Filed 1/23
                  Accepted 1/25
                  No EIC or ACTC
Sitting at 1 Bar with TT 152
So even some of us non- EIC/ACTC credit people who filed early are still waiting. I only claimed regular CTC.

                    Yes, yes, and yes. :)

I filed 1/26 and was accepted right away.

Just my opinion, but I don’t think it is a Tax Act issue.

I am a weekly. I am expecting to be able to order both transcripts at some point this Friday, as they update throughout the day.

You may be a weekly too. It sucks, but what can you do, right?

                      Yup!!! *raises hand*
I’ve filed with taxact for 6 years with no problems. This year by the time I reached the end to pay, my fees were 75 bucks!!! I thought it would be no more than 30 with tax…and I have had the same processing message since the 31st or before (31st was first time checking after 1/23 on that day I had one little lonely bar) every time I try to call them, the phone hangs up smh
