      just ;letting everyone know,

if you have a take action that means your under review I had to call 4 times in the past 2 weeks and this week that is what IRS told me I have eitc and I claimed my daughter that was born last year. basically they said they need to verify if my income and my numbers are correct. which I don’t understand because isn’t that what their got damn computers are for.

the rude bitch at irs said because of my amount being refunded to me is large they have to pull it for review, which is Ludacris. I told them so basically because my refund of 6500 Is bug to you guys I am being reviewed she said yes,..

that is unfair and not right. so now I have to wait up to 60 days and yesterday she said they finally sent a letter damn scum bags

You can think whatr you want . I have talk to tax advocates and that is exactly what it means . basically because the irs told you that’s not what it means then it must be be true huh?i bet yo wont get your refund anytime soon. so keep putting faith in liars . it took me to call and talk to 7 different people for someone to be honest and say I was under review

Please stop pushing non-truths. Yes a 1541 MAY mean you are under review, however it does NOT DEFINITELY mean you are. This is a topic that has been beaten to death. I have 1541. I have personally called the IRS multiple times. Not a single one of these time have I been told I am under review! Each and every time, aI was told that I am in line for a deposit dae, nothing more. 1541 is NOT a review code, it is a DELAY code. It could mean an issue matching your return with the W2 your employer submitted. It could mean you employer is late in submitting the W2, it could mean you have an offset waiting to be taken out. It could mean you made an error on your return, and yes it COULD mean a review, but that is not an absolute.

I understand you are frustrated, all of us with 1541 are getting irritated, but simply stating “if you have a take action that means your under review” is helping no-one.

In my case, I had to ID verify. Unfortunately this pushed my “accepted date” back to the dae I ID verified, thus putting me in the back of the line. So…I can do nothing but wait. I was told that for those of us with early accepted dates who have to id verify, lose that original accepted date, and the new return accepted date, is the date you ID verified, because they can not accept and process your return until you verify your id. If they processed prior to accepting ID verification, they could be processing fraudulent returns.

I am not here to argue, not here to fight, I understand venting online helps some people deal with the delay, but please don’t spread falsehoods.

Did you have a reference code when it said take action?
