Anyone else get plus up payments for their dependents receiving survivor benefits? Like you already received 3rd stimulus and then another pymt came through for your dependents that get SSI? Anyone know what’s up with that?

This happened to me also. I received all 3 stimulus payments and on 4/7 I received another payment. I’m not complaining or anything, but I was freaking out cus I didn’t know if I needed to repay it. Well, I assumed if I did have to repay then they would just take it out of my refund and today the IRS verified that I have my refund being deposited on 5/10 and the amount is the correct amount. So I’m assuming that it’s not a mistake??

From what I’ve read the only reason you would have to send back is if your eligibility changed. This meaning your income no longer qualifies or your dependent is over the age. Even if this was a glitch from the IRS they aren’t making you pay back over payments unless you were ineligible to receive a stimulus at all.

I did and didn’t know it until today. I’m now freaking out because I already received all 3 stimulus payments correctly. It was deposited on my direct express card on April 7th.
