Surprising received refund

I filed Monday 1/30 with TT. Accepted 1/31.
Was able to pull return transcript last night, account transcript this morning.

Received a text notification from my bank that my refund was deposited today around 6pm. I have Amex Serve which deposits 2 days early.

I assure you Im not a troll. I am shocked I got it. My return was super simple. No dependents, no expenses, just income. Had 2 w2s. My refund was less than 900. Honestly was expecting it next Wednesday.

I just checked mine after seeing your post. I filed and accepted the same, able to order transcripts as of this morning. My refund is also now sitting in my bank account!

Even last year, the people who filed before the 23rd or so had a longer wait than the people who filed around the 27th or after. Last year I filed on a Thursday and got it the upcoming Wednesday.

Fast i know you did not say they are fast this year bahahaha not . i file 18th they got it the 19th and nuthing since and mine was simple

I don’t file early or right when they start allowing returns for this reason. I wait until at least the 28th to file and always get it in 6 days max.
