Stuck in reprocessing. Filed 2/16

i filed on 2/16 and as of today, 3/3, my transcripts still show as N/A.
called IRS and got a really nice lady on the line. i asked her if there was anything on my account that said i had to do an ID verify or if there was a hold of some sort. she took a few minutes to look and got back to me and told me my return had to be reprocessed and it is currently in in IRS return limbo. she was unable to see why it was put in to that “pile” but she assured me nothing is wrong and some returns just get randomly flagged for extra review. she said it can update anywhere between now and 8 weeks. so some of you who did not get your transcripts updated today, that might be why. sucks but it is what it is. i triple-checked everything on my return before i filed and nothing was out of the ordinary so no idea what got it flagged or it was as she said, just a random occurrence that some people get. will update when i have more info.
