stimulus updated tonight

to
“You are eligible for the payment. Once we have your payment date, we will update this page.

We will deposit your payment to the bank account below.”

has anybody else had the second message and if so how long did it take to change to a date?

Mine has been sitting at the eligible with no date from the beginning. This is becoming incredibly frustrating for so many!

I don’t think it’s anything to be concerned about. Tons of people have this same message. Apparently the IRS has a maximum on the number of deposits they can send to the same bank account in a certain time period so because of this people that have gotten all the other stimulus and tax return have hit that Maximum, hence the mailed check. This is what the letter is about.

At the bottom of my transcript after my refund amount it shows 1400 with a 4/15/21 date I have 2 depends and the amount should be 4200

Mine went from unavailable to we need your direct deposit information or check will be mailed. Well only problem is they are asking for tons of tax info. I.dont know what year to go off of 2019 or 2020 cuz it keeps logging me out and then says try back in 24 hours ugh!!!

So mine also updated to a check is being mailed 3/26. I checked my transcript and I’m getting 1400 and it’s supposed to be 4200 for myself and my 2 kids. Any idea why I’m being shorted? My kids are 17 and 3 so they qualify. It’s bad enough they are mailing a check instead of the direct septa’s then my bank will put a 5 day hold on the check but then they short me as well.

Deposit for March 24. The deposit just hit my Netspend card.

Same message since GMP opened and still no deposit.

I just checked ours and it says the same as yours. We have the TT card so ours will most likely deposited on Wednesday. My sister and BIL had the same exact message once GMP was made available and they got half of theirs on the 17th.
