@Zak
Almost certain BOA will post to our accounts very early tomorrow morning. Check around 2-3am.. few hours. 🙏🏻🤞🏻

The earliest any of us traditional bankers are going to see it is the early morning tomorrow. Capital One and all the other big banks don’t deposit it until the effective date at the earliest
So it’s going to be a long night waiting

Erica!!!
I am so glad you were able to get in! -
March 15, 2021 at 11:39 am #4472107FLGirl
@Erica
Do you have your last years tax return (that has been accepted by the IRS)? If so, check your 1040 and see how your address reads. It could be a simple as you spelling “street” out and the IRS may have it as “St”. I had the same issue – I was typing Northwest out in my address and then I checked my tax return and sure enough it states NW – stupid yes! -
March 15, 2021 at 11:38 am #4472106EricaRenee
Oh and I did not include dashes in my SSN. Thank you all for your help. Hope this helps someone
-
March 15, 2021 at 11:37 am #4472105EricaRenee
Okay guys I actually got it to work, on my final attempt! I typed it in exactly how it is on my w2. Now, on my w2 my address is written 5678 26 se street seemed backwards to me… but it worked! Payment date of the 17th :) i wish you all luck!

March 15, 2021 at 11:31 am #4472102EricaRenee
Super frustrating! I get this message every time error: the information you entered does not match our records please try again. Then I get myself locked out for 24 hrs lol. I have a street address that is SE 29th street so any suggestions on how I should enter that in? It shouldnt be this complicated 😔
-
March 15, 2021 at 9:31 am #4472015FLGirl
@Erica
GMP info must match exactly how it appears on your tax return. Example address:
1234 NW ABC Rd
If NW on the address is spelled out on your return ensure its spelled out on GMP portal -

Anyone see any sign of stimulus in their bank of america account yet?
-
March 15, 2021 at 8:03 am #4471975S3H
@EricaRenee let me know what your status says! I’m trying not to stress too!
-
March 15, 2021 at 8:01 am #4471974S3H
@EricaRenee I believe just the numbers for the social, no dashes! For example: “012345678”. And just the street address – no city, state, or zip code. For example: “123 Smith Street”
-
March 15, 2021 at 7:59 am #4471970EricaRenee
Does anyone know exactly how my infor should be entered into Get My Payment? SSN with or without dashes and how exactly is street address entered? Going insane!
-
March 15, 2021 at 3:22 am #4471921Carolyn
Although my bank doesn’t post the funds until the effective date which is 3/17; here I am checking every hour. Lol

I work for TD Bank. All electronic transfers go through the automated clearing house (ACH). Each bank receives notice that funds have been sent and provide a settlement date. Some banks do not release until settled and some release when they have the initial ACH notification. Companies that boast early paydays do the latter. It is not a loan. Essentially they wait for an e-check to clear

so could it be monday for Bank of America? like Sunday night?
-
March 13, 2021 at 10:27 pm #4471378Over It
And companies like Chime and Netspend are so successful because they release the funds early. Even people’s payroll checks come early for them. If that’s a loan, how does Chime know the exact amount of their check that week?
Traditional banks get 3rd party deposits atleast 3 days before they give it to us.

March 13, 2021 at 10:24 pm #4471377Over It
Well, idk what bank you’ve worked for, but I worked for Citizens/Charter One, and they definitely receive the funds several days before they post them to accounts. They do this for absolutely no reason at all other than a rather small monetary gain for the company. We were always advised to tell the customer that we cannot see any pending deposits.
-
March 13, 2021 at 9:51 pm #4471358
The companies are advancing the money based on the IRS’s promise that it’s coming. The banks aren’t holding it, because they haven’t gotten it yet, and their basic business model doesn’t call for offering interest-free two-day loans.
-
March 13, 2021 at 8:43 pm #4471329Over It
So for the last stimulus, BOA posted them to us on January 1st. The earliest any other bank/debit was December 30th. So idk 🤷🏻♀️ I’m hopeful for Monday.

Even though IRS is saying my refund is still being processed, they accepted it on the 13th. I’m just wondering if my son who was born in 2020 (claimed on tax return for this year) will be apart of that stim payment.
-
March 13, 2021 at 6:03 pm #4471268Over It
Because traditional banks hold it longer than they have to. The longer they hold it the more interest they get to keep. When compared to these debit card companies that release funds immediately. That is why those cards are more popular than traditional banks these days.
Basically, our money is there and they just won’t give it to us, and that’s wrong at a time like this.

How is the actual date of the direct deposit “late”?
We’ll get it Wednesday — in four days. Surely we can be patient until then, right?
-
March 13, 2021 at 5:32 pm #4471252Joshua
why is bank of america depositing so late

It can update at any point in time. It can say “not available” right now and you get a direct deposit tomorrow. It’s just a waiting game at this point. I hate how the IRS holds all the cards but there’s just nothing any of us can do about it.

Get payment says information unavailable for both my wife and I. Our 2020 taxes were processed already. Are we not getting the Stimulus?

I received my stimulus check last night at 11:38 est. I use nestspend for my direct deposit and I filed my taxes with Turbo Tax. I still haven’t received my tax refund but at least we got the stimulus. Hopefully this helps some people out with the info.

As of right now, it seems like debit card services like Cash App and Netspend, etc are the only ones showing up right now. The “grown up” banks don’t seem to show anything.
