Stimulus: The forgotten group.

Filed 2019:Processing since March.
2018: Didn’t file, can’t file until IRS is back in office.

There’s zero information on us, other than “when your return has been fully processed.”

HINT: That’s never! How can they? IRS is sending money to corporations, banks, airlines….how are they gonna have time to work on my refund? Emergency Reielf Money? What a joke. If it was they would give it to me. I’d bet the farm they turn mine in to a tax credit next year, LOL that then they tell me won’t work.

And here’s the worst part – there ain’t a single thing I can do about it.
I…WE…are the forgotten group in America.

We need to do something Bout it. If they do not start processing returns or at the very least turn on their phones again, we need to take action.

What does that look like? That’s what we need to figure out. I’d say bind together a group, and demand a message sent to Steve Mnuchin.

I was just telling this to my mother the other day.

Those that haven’t gotten a refund or a stimulus and our unemployment is just sitting in limbo. My husband can’t go out and work an essential job because I’m immunocompromised and we have a newborn. We are flat out forgotten about and no one cares.

Preach to the choir. I’m in the same exact situation. And reading people on here who’ve already gotten their refunds and quite possibly blown through them already complain about not getting the stimulus money. There are some of us who have gotten nothing owed thus far this tax season and they should take precedent but probably won’t.
