Initially my stimulus was informing me that it will be direct deposited into my account.. 1-2 months later it said it was scheduled to me mailed to me on April 2nd..
LAST WEEK: IRS updated my information again and is now informing me that the payment is to be direct deposited into my account but no date at this time (or whatever they say).

My question is, wtf is going on? Is that even possible to revert back and forth like that? How am I supposed to speak with anyone?

After not receiving my check I was able to log back into impact payment, it gave me an option to submit my bank information for direct deposit.
Now I’m just waiting for the deposit date.

UPDATE, sort of: Spoke with a lady today who was very helpful and she kindly submitted Form 3911 to trace my EIP3. She said I should not have had to call so many times because the reps are able to see and view the information. She did say it could take up to 6 weeks for my payment to be traced or sooner. I was originally advised to fax or mail the form and she said no, that is something I can request over the phone.

Got a letter today telling me about the payment but no check. Spoke to IRS 2 days ago and was told to give it 2 weeks and if not received then they would do a payment trace of the check. Hopefully that isnt needed . bay area california here.

Still nothing….I called the IRS on Friday at 800-919-9835 and was told AGAIN to wait until this Friday to submit a trace. The guy told me I needed to give it at least 7-10 days from my last notification from informed delivery which was on 4/22/2021 that I did not receive. The first scan in informed delivery happened on or around 3/29 and the second was on 4/22.

Same exact thing happened to me! Was mailed on April 2nd and showed up on ID April 12th. And all my other mail showed up except my stimulus check. I don’t understand why the IRS did not continue to do direct deposit instead of mailing checks. It seems like it would have been more efficient to continue to do direct deposit. More people would have been happier with the rollout of this stimulus package.

Went to my local PO to ask about the Valued Citizen, Anywhere USA. They said envelopes get scanned at the big regional sorting centers. The checks are being sent from Philadelphia Pennsylvania. So they are getting scanned in Philly for ID. So that means once it showed up on ID it can take another 10 days depending on how long the mail takes from Philadelphia to wherever you live. This sucks so much.

Online said our check was direct deposited, like other 2, but bank refused it. Was going to be mailed April 2, it is now April 11 and no check. The Republicans did better than that on our first time around even though they had issues until they got IRS straightened out – now we have Demos and IRS has forgotten how to do it now? Just read – Those payments began processing on Friday, April 2, and had an official payment date of April 7. So that means they started processing the April 7th batch on the 2nd of April. That means all of us who thought ours was mailed on Friday in reality it was mailed this past Wednesday and we’re going to wait a few more days.

Mail date of 3/31 here and my check finally showed up on my I.D this morning as the “Valued Citizen” letter from Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Took a total of 8 business/mailing days to come in. Now I really hope it actually shows up in my mailbox later on today xD smh. But they are definitely coming guys, this round has just been delayed a bit more then previous. I did call my local post office on April 2nd to ask if they were holding stimulus mail (saw some random posts on Reddit about it) and they called me back same day to let me know they aren’t holding stimulus mail. My stimulus mail date according to the IRS is 4/2/21, which means that is the day it was MAILED. It can take up to 3 weeks to receive it. I’ve heard some people getting it in about 5 days. Depending on where you live. I’m in California so hopefully this week.

Absolutely no exact way to know except for checking the usps informed delivery app every morning and of course your mailbox.

Just today I finally received my 3/26 mailed payment, I got the check from dept of treasury bureau of fiscal services from Philly pennsylvania. Cards r supposed come from Nebraska. Alot of other 3/26 ppl still haven’t gotten theirs yet, mail taking 7-10 days sometimes longer. GOOD LUCK

Social Security had to be forced essentially, to hand over info to the IRS so that those on SSI/SSDI would get their stimmys. Just ridiculous. The IRS isn’t much better in the way they have done any of this. What a mess. Those that need it the most should have been FIRST, instead we are last, almost an afterthought.

Yes ours too. We were supposed to get dd 17th but now wait to be mailed 29th…found out irs has a law that won’t allow them to dd more then three checks to same one account. So I had 2019 taxes, and two stimmys so that’s why we all were supposed to get dd but switched to mail. You would think irs would have fixed it cuz this falls under special circumstances.

Here to vent with everyone, last stimulus I received a day before the date on my check, and I see many of you did for this one as well so congrats! I was just hoping I’d at least have it by today (3/27 Sat.) but it’s 9am and still not USPS ID usually I have it in my email by 8:05. Sometimes it won’t pop up till 11:30, so still praying, but man it sucks I wish they came with tracking numbers 😂
