my transcript updated on 2/5 to refund cancelled. there is no dd date or that a check has been sent out. i guess i’m one of the people that will have to just file my taxes and get the credit. i just don’t get it.

Soooo originally gmp said it was deposited on January 4 and it wasnāt checked my transcript it said credited 18 tj and it wasnāt then the other day checked gmp it said my check was being mailed out February 2 well today is Feb 1 and I got my stimulus in the mail NOT COMPLAINING AT ALL but yāall beware itās not very accurate!!! Hope this helps

Hello beautiful people! Finally some hope! My transcripts updated. The people that were saying they had weekly updates seemed to be correct or I was in a different batch. It finally gave me a date of 2/3!! I feel like Tax transcripts are the quickest way to get an update. GMP still has not updated, not too sure when they normally do. Anyways, I just wanted to let you all know that you shouldn’t give up! It’s coming! I will do my best to help anyone w transcript questions.

*Update*. I called my bank (Suntrust) today and they said it is pending in my account for tomorrow 1/29, like my get payment tool finally said yesterday. I am so relieved. I really hope everything works out for everyone else on here as well I know we all need it bad. I am so grateful to everyone on here, knowing my family wasnāt alone in this has been so helpful. š

I finally got an update today on the “Where’s my Payment?”.
It says “We are scheduled to mail your payment on February 2nd”. My transcript changed yesterday and had the canceled refund 01/18/2021 and then the reissued refund on 02/02/2021
But I’m glad that it finally updated on the “Where’s my Payment?” and that both websites say the same thing now. -
*Update* I just checked my get payment tool and it now says deposit date 1/29 and doesnāt say not available. I really hope this is the case for everyone else here as well š¤š¼ I know we all need this š¤š¼

@alabamagirl I will post any updates as well. I received my first stimulus direct deposit no problem so Iām not sure what happened with the second time around. I file my own taxes through TaxAct same way every year so who knows but fingers crossed we have it by Friday! Iām tired of the waiting and game. We all are!

Thank you. Iām a weekly too. I will continue to post any changes that comes. My 1st stimulus was sent to tax preparer office and I was called in to pick up. I never set up direct deposit so I was told by my preparer that my check was rejected by his bank and sent back to the irs. Iām certain we should have our money by the weekend. Itās our money, itās got to come eventually š¤·š½āāļø

Yeah. I have a traditional bank too, and I can call them to see if there are deposits on the back end, but wont typically show up until the day before the deposit posts. It generally happens like this with my refund too. It’s in my account before I see an update.
I just hope for everyone’s sake that all this bs is over soon and everyone has their money. -

@awesomecows02 I am a weekly too. In the Republic Bank fiasco too. I bank with Bank of America which does not show pending deposits so they way our luck will work out is that we will be like most who had the DD date of 1/29 which ironically would deposit in the middle of the night Thursday going into Friday around the same time our transcripts update lol. Weād find out one way or the other. Fingers crossed!

If your transcripts updated today, you may be on a daily update cycle with the irs. If it did not, you may be on the Weekly update cycle. We will know late thursday evening, friday morning, for we weekly people.
This is just a guess as to why, but I’m a weekly and did not update today.
I also have Not Available on GMP.
Was supposed to have dd on 1/4.

Transcript still saying 1/4 1/18. Still No available status on GMP. Bank account last four numbers for 1st stimulus Is Correct actually and the first stimulus DD no problem. I received the first stimulus by deposit. I have the same account, no payment status, transcripts 1/4 1/18 and I never received the second. Today delivery report sent a notification that I would receive a debit card from the Treasury department but it did not arrive. Hopefully tomorrow. Arizona.

We have the same info on our transcripts 1/18 credited to account but not available status on get my payment. The bank today said nothing is pending and when you call the IRS they just say to try and get it when we file taxes but they wonāt give out any personal info. So Iām just as clueless as everyone else is.

So, yeah, I’m sure a lot of people (including myself) did NOT actually receive the email with link in it. Instead they found and clicked on the link provided by someone in chat/message website like this one. Myself, I first saw link here on this site. What’s strange is they actually allowed me to change my info and said I was good and should have deposit within 5 days. Any other TurboTax users have a similar story? I’m assuming we will most likely get one of these late round checks.

I think I’m noticing a trend in people that were able to change their direct deposit info with TurboTax on 1/10 – 1/15. I can’t remember where I saw, but a person claiming to be TurboTax employee said that the only people who will actually receive their deposits are those that received the E-mail that had link to the portal in it.

Did your IRS payment site say you’d be getting it mailed or “Not Available”? Ours have remained ‘not available’ this entire time. It sucks because we need it now and likely wont see much on our tax return anyway…

I have the same codes and dates as everyone here, transcript shows issue date1/4 deposits date of 1/18. Since the 18th was a holiday I didn’t expect much but now its the 21st and still no stimulus. However my tax preparer sent an email out on Monday and notified a few of us that we should be receiving our second EIP before Feb 1st so I hope this applies to us all.

UPDATE…Looked at my USPS mail delivery and it shows my Economic Impact Payment debit card is in TODAYS mail! I had the same exact dates as everyone else on here, 1/4 & 1/18. I firmly believe you will all start to see either a check or that debit card start to arrive any day now.

Just got off the phone with the irs they told me that the transcripts are not accurate the Get My Payment Tool should display a date and if it doesn’t it has to be claimed on your taxes smh this is insane that it’s people out here struggling and they don’t care and we won’t be able to get taxes until March smh especially if you have a kid so it looks like for those of us who had a date for the 18th we will have to file the stimulus on our taxes smh

Just talked to my CPA who said that IRs said they arent fixing the error however, refund advantage, the company they use for if you had the fee for tax prep taken out of your refund, said they and many other companies are pushing hard for the IRS to fix this as its unacceptable. Currently though if it shows unavailable then per statements so far…we have to claim on taxes. Its BS!

My husband files HoH. We got first stimulus fine. Use a certified CPA whom we’ve used for four years, same bank account we’ve used for over 5 years and yet nothing. Website still says unavailable, transript shows same dates and nothing in the bank yet!

Hi, I have the same dates 1/4 then credit for 1/18 I filed dd with liberty tax last year and I got my first stimulus , still havenāt received my second as of yet, status unavailable although itās on my transcript . Location Cincinnati Ohio. I know my eligible because I just started employment today I was unemployed since April 2020. Not sure what the IRS issue is but it needs resolved many people including myself have bills to pay and mouths to feed.

I have all the same codes and dates. O have received nothing. This is beyond aggravating. I am not even showing pending anything. This is becoming a crap show. How do you receive one but not the other? Nothing has changed. Literally, nothing. And, yes, I have Chase as well. But, you would think it would be pending at the bare minimum. The IRS needs to get their crap together. I even seen that when filing taxes on some programs it doesn’t even acknowledge the fact of us not receiving it.

I spoke with a Chase bank representative Saturday night and she stated that she did not see any pending transactions. Since Monday is a holiday she suggested I check for my IRS deposit on Tuesday, 1/19/21. I’m in the same boat as everyone else, hope this helps.

I have the same thing. The tool says not available. I spent over 2 hours on the phone today 01-15-2021 and no one could give me an answer. It could be a direct deposit, it could be a paper check or card. If you donāt get it this month you can get it with your tax refund. It is going to be the end of February or the first of March for a refund. It depends on if you have dependents or not how long it will take. It is ridiculous no one has answers.

I also have the exact same codes on my transcript….nothing as of now. I filed with a private tax preparer. My last stimulus check came to his office and I was able to pick it up from him. This year he said he didnāt receive it or it was sent back. GMP had 1/4 as deposit date the first time I checked it. The next day I got the āunavailableā message.
