      Hi guys, I was one of those people who didn’t believe the ID verify situation would happen to me…. well it did! My WMR was on “still being processed” for 21 days. This past Tuesday, I received an ID verify letter from the IRS. I called yesterday morning and the process was so painless and easy! There was no hold time and took maybe 10 minutes to complete!

      After I finished and passed, the rep told me that she legally has to say the 9 week time frame, but then she whispered and said I will receive my returns within 14 days. She stated that she entered the codes in the system and processed my returns right there on the spot.

      So GUYS , I hate to be the barrier of bad news…. but if your wmr portal has said “still being processed” for longer than 2 weeks, you can bet your last dollar the IRS is sending you a verification letter.

          This just happens to me, I called said they sent my letter out last week
          Have you received your refund yet? If so how long it take?

              Thanks everyone! They sent me an ID verify letter in the mail. Basically saying for me to call them ASAP so they could continue to process my returns.

                      Update:

                      my status finally changed from “still being processed” to “your return IS BEING PROCESSED”!!!! Only 2 days later from verifying!! Whoop whoop!!! This is a small victory for me, but tells me that my money is on its way!!!
                      I’m happy ❤️🎊
