still processing a refund date withh be provided when available

Filed 1/30 accepted seconds later with both credits
next day I bar and TT 152
never got path message
stayed at 1 bar and being processed until 1/18 morning
changed to still being processed and a refund date will be provided when available.
ive heard nothing but bad things about “still processing”.
anyone else in the same boat or have any insight into this?

I had the same situation and my bars disappeared on the 18th with the message still processing… and topic 152. this morning it updated and showed approved with ddd of the 25th. I’ve had experience with the word “still” in the past but the only difference I had this time is I had bars before they disappeared. A couple of years ago I never had bars and had the message “still processing” until they were released in May of that year. I have hope you will get them soon.

It was good news for about a couple of seconds, but also have other doubts.

I wonder once everything is fixed, if I still have to worry about ID Verify or other issues.

Just got off the phone.
For my situation, there was an error on my return and that it was already fixed. Might take a few days for an update.

I’m so sorry Tracy! I am in and out today. I just saw this. I told them i needed my transcripts for grad school and they were blank. I had waited a month and have had no updates or suggestions. So could she please open my account and look. I kept asking to open my account and review it. That’s when she saw the letter. I told her i had to know if i was getting a letter so i could be ready and to check that it was going to correct address. Many call 2-3 times until they get someone helpful so i would try again. Now you really have a reason because your filing status isn’t being reported correctly. I would start with that. Once they open the return you can ask whatever!

I just got off the phone and he told me he couldn’t look into it until I have my husband call because it is showing that it isn’t a married filing joint account but it is. I don’t understand why, I looked at my tax papers and it says married filing joint on them

I tried calling got to someone and they said I have to wait until tomorrow for my 21 days

I called 800-829-0582 and then ext 452. I waited 15 min. Got a super nice lady. Hope that helps!!

I actually just got done reading the other post you made. I do still have the TT152 with mine that’s the only difference. Can you possibly give me the number you called? and what exactly do I say to them to get them to give me any info if I happen to get an unhelpful agent lol

YES! Mine exactly like yours.. i couldn’t wait any longer and called today. Found out i forgot to include a form for marketplace insurance. So my return was pulled. I am so upset and stressed BUT glad i called so i can get the ball rolling towards refund. From what i have read still processing means you either have an error or need additional info. I didn’t want to believe this. I wanted to just think it was a glitch or because they were overloaded but it wasn’t the case. Call and find out!! From what i have read it will take about 14 days for me to see a ddd now. Just glad to finally know something. This year has been ridiculous. Good luck!
