Still on processing message as of this morning 2/19. Please tell me I am not alone.

I must say that the green monster jealousy keeps popping up everytime I hear people talk about their DDDs.

PATH Msg 2/2, ordered both transcripts by mail same day.
2/16 Return is being processed message, no TT152
NO UPDATE ON THE 18TH.
Called Saturday (twice,lol)
First lady said my return was being reviewed, no codes or letters sent, should call back next week.
Second guy asked me a TON of questions. Parents names, 2015 return info, place of birth…. he told me that they were reviewing my child tax credits (Same kids past 9 years, added my little 2 years ago) he said they were reviewing alot of peoples children claimed this year, not to worry and to check back next week
He also let me know I owed from 2014 and they will be deducting that from my refund..

My mom stayed on hold for maybe close to hour and half but she got hood info. She file bob the 31st of January and accepted, about a week ago path message and past weekend refund still processing. She called today on Presidents’ Day waited for more than hour for the nice lady to come navy finally to tell her that she’d be getting direct deposit on this Wednesday 22 of February and other part of her check mailed on 24th. She split her refund this way., but the thing is she was never informed of anything so watch your accounts and keep calling them to you get the right person on the phone to talk to you.!

I know WMR isn’t totally reliable and to be honest, I’m not in a rush for my money. This is money for a Disney trip during Thanksgiving break. I am the type of person that HATES being in limbo. If there is a problem tell me, if I have a deposit date, tell me, of all is good, tell me. I have been in processing since the 23rd of Jan. No letter from the IRS, just processing.

Yeah Ive had years where I was still at 1 or 2 bars and my DD went through overnight. AAAAAAAANYTIME NOW IRS. $$$$$

You know, WMR is meaningless, right? Just because that didn’t update, doesn’t mean there is anything wrong or that your return is stuck in space. It it still being worked on, probably already finished. It just didn’t update to WMR yet. Just keep checking, and you only need to check 1 time a day, as it only updates once every 24 hours.

I’m telling you the people who filed between 1/20 and 2/10ish got the shaft. Everyone who has the “being processed, no bars” notification all fall within those weeks. Crazy.

no date as well although i filed 2/12 when i did file there was no path act message and its been stucc at 1 bar.

Ok so I posted a thread on a FB page and this seems to be the general consensus for a lot of people who filed between 1/20 and 2/10:

A TON of people have the same “still being processed” message on WMR. No bars (I never even saw theme ever! Just path and now this) BUT I also figured out that my cycle date from my transcripts (20170605) is a WEEKLY update and not daily. Depending on what date you filed you end up with one or the other. Sucks! :(

Also- Everyone Ive talked to that has called the IRS has said that they either say “it hasn’t been 21 days yet” OR “your return is being flagged for review, youll receive a letter in the mail”. I think both of these responses are the representatives way of getting rid of people calling inquiring about the status of their returns. Ive talked to people who called the IRS, were told to wait for a review letter and then got their DDD.. Its so shady.

I know the IRS stated that they would start processing returns before the 15th but wouldn’t release any refunds if filing with an ETIC until after 2/15 but I honestly don’t think they started processing the returns at all. I think everything got so backed up and that’s why theres a huge lag in updates. If any of you ordered BOTH transactions to be mailed or have viewed them online look at the very bottom of your account transaction where it breaks down the return values. On the left hand side there should be codes on every line. If you have a 501, 806, 766 or 768 you should be just fine. I hope this helps? Its so frustrating and it gets overwhelming sitting there not knowing whats going on (Ive been audited in the past so I know how scary it can be!)

I also noticed the IRS is holding some for tax debts…thats what mine is for. She told me 3 weeks from Feb 1…should be the end of this week

Accepted 1/13 Stuck on processing since path message disappeared. Called IRS Sat and they told me my return was being reviewed. But I should have a date this week. Unbelievable.

Same here. Accepted 1/24. Could order transcripts by mail for both account and tax February 17. Still processing message. Nothing about direct deposit either. It is frustrating.

Where’s My Refund Update for PATH act

We will constantly update this page as we have news regarding the PATH act tax delay message.

Update 2/19/2017 8am CST. The IRS made a statement recently that all of the PATH act taxpayers will receive their tax refund by February 27th, 2017. Most taxpayers should already have a tax refund date of either 2/22 or 2/23. Those who currently do not, should see one either Monday or Wednesday.

Same boat guys! Filed and accepted 2/3. PATH until 2/15 when it went to the generic “we have your return and its being processed” message. I was able to order both transcripts and got them in the mail Friday. Everything looks normal. Codes are good. cycle 20170605 if that means anything. I just wish I knew the status. I don’t even care about a ddd I just want to know that its good to go or that Its held up in review or something. So frustrating :(

The next batch of returns will have ddd 2/24. I ve seen others today get updates. Irs work on Sat. So for those still waiting you should get updates Tuesday on wmr.

If you can’t get transcripts online you can use Google fax trial to get transcripts sent to phone but you have to call IRS rep to fax transcripts. I’ve seen others do it last week in order to see cycle date and 846 code.

Due to identity theft issues I had to mail my return and it was accepted on 2/13. During the udate on 2/18 my bars disappeared, no tax topic and the message that my refund is still being processed and a DDD will be given when available. Then I called the IRS a rep told me because I mailed my return there was no need to even call back until the 1st of April. Smh…this makes no sense to me.

I filed 1/6, accepted 1/12, path msg on 2/4. Called on 2/18, was told it’s being held because of my husband’s tax debt from last year and to give them 3 weeks from Feb 1st. Hopefully I’ll see something in the coming week.

I still have no date. I called yesterday and some bit** told me that they are sending a letter the 1st week of March to verify my dependent!! It’s been the same for 3 years I never had a problem!!
