Filed 1/13 hrblock
Accepted 1/14
9001 message 1/15
Transcripts updated 2-1Still have the message and wmr hasnt updated but my transcripts have a date of 2-6.
Never got a return last year and ended up being audited and owing as I missed a business income form. It shows they are taking that out this year. Glad to be done and not have to go through that nightmare..

No wic or actcWMR still says error code 9001 but I got my refund this afternoon it hit my bank.
And clearly has errors this year but this process was a week faster this year.

I also still have code 9001- that’s the only message/code I have had since checking the WMR after I filed and was accepted. I filed with Tax Slayer on 1/13, got the email that the IRS had accepted my refund on 1/14. I was audited last year and had to prove HOH status for my kids that I have filed since they were born (Oldest is now over 18). It was a nightmare of waiting and endless paperwork sent in. I do have EIC on my return. I am on pins and needles hoping I don’t get audited again this year. I was able to prove everything last year and they finally released my refund. I called the IRS this morning. Got a sweet little lady. She said for most of the people calling in for the 9001 code, she can’t really tell what the message means, but most have EIC. She said the 9001 code means that your refund will be delayed for some reason, but more than likely the delay is related to EIC and the PATH act. She did check my return and said she saw the 9001 code but it didn’t show her any other info or errors at this time. I am weekly. I hope the WMR updates this weekend for me. I guess I’ll have to wait and see if the 9001 is due to the EIC or if they have flagged me again this year. Uuuggh…..

I filed on 1/2/19 and accepted 1/14/19 and i do claim and get EIC and I am getting the 9001 reference number but I called and I got told my return was accepted but was under review….could this be because of the EIC?

I am a daily and mine finally changed from 9001 to DDD of 2/1. Filed 1/6/, accepted 1/14. I checked at 7am and it was updated, so I recommend if you’re weekly to check in the morning.

Same. I have been checking daily on WMR since being accepted on 1/15/19. Filed using TT. I called twice— once before reading the forums and seeing so many people are in the same boat and was basically read the generic 9001 by the IRS representative about using a primary SS #. The second time, I was told they just began processing, I could check back after 21 days and that my tax return showed it was accepted, even though the bar disappeared and went to the 9001/tt152 message. Frustrating.

Filed 1/16 accepted 1/17 with TT simple 1040 efile and dd
Have the 152 and 9001 on wmr.
Fingers crossed for a ddd soom but worried for some reason its gonna take forever -

To those who used turbo tax, I usually do… And I usually get a thank you for your purchase email from them the same time that my transcripts become available. Hope it helps, best wishes!

@Cookie – if you log on from a computer, it would be on the main page after you log in. I can’t see it from my cell phone, but I can on the computer. Not sure if that helps?

Where is everyone who filed using TurboTax seeing the estimated dd date? I also used turbo tax to file but I don’t see a estimated dd date anywhere

@Djtytanium my TT says the same, basically. Except I was accepted on the 14th, so my DDD is 2/4. I think that is just the general 21 day calculation based on acceptance date, and not actually accurate because I still have 9001 on WMR. I feel a little more at ease after calling a little bit ago and IRS confirming they have my refund, and it’s just a system error. TT probably just can’t recognize the 9001 message, so they just go off the standard calculation until WMR updates.

Filed via TT 1/14, accepted 1/15. WMR showed one bar the next day. Two days later, I got the 9001 message. It has been stuck there for the past 11 days. Checked TT this morning, and it shows a return transmitted date of 1/28/19, accepted date of 1/15/19, and estimated DDD of 2/5/19. How is this even possible? Has anyone in this time frame seen any movement?

I tried calling the automated line to see if maybe that would have a different result, and after entering my info in the phone, it immediately put me on hold for a representative. After about 15 mins of waiting, I spoke to someone. She asked for my info again, then put me on hold for a few more minutes. When she returned to the line she said my return was received and everything looks fine, it’s just the system error and they are hoping it will be fixed soon. I could not get an exact date from her, just the same “3 weeks” general statement. So, who knows..

I’m in the same boat w/the 9001. My account transcript shows up but it’s basically empty except for dates 2/11/2019 in a couple of places. It’s n/a for return transcript and record transcript for 2018.
I have been weekly in the past so we shall see.

Still have 9001. I haven’t called yet because it seems like everyone is getting the same story. Filed 1/6 – accepted 1/14

I still have 9001 message and no change on WMR and transcripts aren’t available for 2018. :(

I am a weekly too and still stuck on the 9001. I’ve been seeing everyone else get their refund dates over the weekend and I think we just was a status- its like we are stuck in limbo. Contemplating about calling again to see if I get a different answer. Also, my 2018 transcripts are empty (N/A)

Same here… no change. I know my stuff is accurate, same as last year. I called the IRS and they said they don’t see my return and that I have wait until 21 days
-
January 28, 2019 at 4:16 pm #4253579Jibbbjawww
Forget my last message, I think it was my error!
-
January 28, 2019 at 3:27 pm #4253563Jibbbjawww
Strange, I filed 1/15 …accepted 1/15 TaxACT
Went to message 9001 soon after, stuck there. My state just got rejected because my federal has not been accepted. Anyone else? -
January 28, 2019 at 3:19 pm #4253558Tara
The person I spoke with at the IRS on Friday said per her supervisor the 9001 code is just that it was filed early and hasn’t been processed yet.
-
January 28, 2019 at 2:55 pm #4253547
@kevin I called the IRS this morning and the lady told me the EXACT same thing. I was accepted on the 15th as well and filed with TT, no credits. She told me my 21 days starts today. I kind of don’t want to believe it. Everyone who filed before and after seems to have made the “test batches” and i’m kind of annoyed, honestly.
-
January 28, 2019 at 2:29 pm #4253536Kevin A
After all that, all he can tell me is that they haven’t processed it, and to give it 21 days from today.
The 9001, as far as he can tell, means nothing. I just have to wait.
Ugh.

Still 9001. EIC.
Filed 1/14, accepted 1/15.
On the phone with the IRS now, and this guy doesn’t even know what the 9001 means. He’s “checking it out” now. Asking some crazy deep-dive questions to “verify” who I am?
Clueless. Makes me nervous.

Mine has not changed either. I’m thinking they have just started so hopefully will update tomorrow.

January 28, 2019 at 12:10 pm #4253468pat
how do you know if you a weekly
-
January 28, 2019 at 11:48 am #4253453Meg
Mine is the same. I have checked my return like 20 times, all of the information is correct. My husband and I file jointly, and it is annoying because I can pull a status for our JOINT return through his social. What the heck is happening?

I’m in same boat. Filed with TS and accepted by IRS on 15th, changed to 9001 a couple days after. No movement and I can’t order transcripts. I’m a weekly also. I hope I don’t have to wait until Saturday for an update but probably do.
Have any weekly people gotten an update?
-
January 28, 2019 at 6:27 am #4253357MOMO
Me either. I think a lot of people are in the same boat. My concern is that if I am a weekly then I have to wait until Saturday for any kind of update. I hope not.
