      Hey guys!
      I just switched to Amex Serve card from greendot, first year using them…and I’m concerned. Something weird happened.
      Usually my state taxes come with fed. This year, I got them 2 weeks ago, and instead of going on my card- I got a paper check in the mail.
      Does this mean my fed taxes will be on a paper check, too?
      Anyone else have this happen?

      Tried to call customer service for Serve, but it is impossible to reach a live representative. Every number routes me back to the automated balance inquiry line. *SO frustrating * facepalm.
      Let me know what you think, I checked and the routing and acct number were correct when I efiled.

      If it DOES get DD’d I’m taking my money out and putting it in my regular bank. Who needs the option of a reloadable if you can’t get any support when you have an issue?! Lol

          You should have a printed copy of your return if you filed with a brick and mortar company or can download and print if you filed online. Either way, check your return as it should show routing and account numbers stated for DD. If you miffed them up, you will probably wait a while for a federal check too.

              Thanks very much! I just found the MA thread, I’m in CT.
              I am going to call Monday just to make sure. The lack of customer service just sent me into a tissy! Lol

                What state? The people that is happening to in MA said when they called DOR they told them it was another ID verify process/fraud prevention type thing. Maybe because you switched banks? Not sure. I switched banks but I got a DDD not a paper ck. Other people in the MA forum got paper cks though instead of a DD as requested. Hope this helps a little. Nobody has mentioned anything about a ck from the Fed though. I think that will still come DD. I would call your states DOR if you want to know why you got a check and not a DD.
