Will it show your 2019 as of now or not?some ppl are saying it wont show or be updated for awhile. Some are saying it should be showing your 2019 wages now and if it isnt then your employer hasnt reported your w2 wages yet. Anybody know something on this?

I always filed end of February in the past..this year thought I would do it early, I learned well from THAT mistake!! Past years I would have my refund by 9 to 11 days deposited. Lesson well learned.

I am curious as to those that received a DDD, do ALL of them have their earnings on SSA.gov visible? Just too hard to get anyone one of those people to check and see. 🙄

@ Jeremy
Mine is not on the website yet 😟
But it was all faxed to local office and they have it, Friday they said it might not be in system on website but doesn’t mean it’s doesn’t have it. But it’s is in, and u should be definitely relieved and good to go!! 🎉🎉🎉 -

It says on the website…faq i believe… that if its current year or last year that they probably haven’t been recorded it doesn’t mean it hasn’t been received, my husbands have been recorded mine haven’t i think my last employers mailed them vs. his who do everything electronically…I’m “being processed” I’m assuming if they needed income verification i would’ve been notified already but with this year you never know 🙄

Did your wages ever update on ssa yet?
Mine finally showed up on ssa yesterday. I’m hoping that gets things going now. Who knows though -

More ppl are saying that ssa may not have updated your 2019 wages yet. So I dont know if that’s true or what. I cant really find a answer on it.

Well I hope it works out quickly for us all. I bet they havent recieved mine neither. I just got that feeling. I’m going to find out tomorrow. So the agent said it could take till April to work out?so even if they received the employer’s info and all you would think it would be updated and go ahead and finish processing.seems like that should be a common problem they would take care of faster. -

The IRS site says it can take that long, I’m not saying that everyone will be updated in July. I will say I don’t really think it has anything to do with the refunds, my opinion and I could be wrong

Their dad passed away last year, so I am trying to make things good with no worries. It’s a very sad situation, my 17 yr old I found him trying to revive his dad on the floor…it was a big tear jerker. Still is.

Called IRS again. Super nice agent explained that my w2 info has not been received yet, and that it should work out in its own (I spoke to the owner who sends that info at my part-time job…he confirmed everything was sent…but I received my w2 like 1/28….so, he’s a late submitter obviously). Nevertheless, I called SSA and they were closed (local office) to make sure they have his info..the owner. I am going there tomorrow with my w2 in hand. I’ll keep u posted. -

Ssa updates every two weeks on w2 wages. Not saying your employer hasn’t sent in or irs cant get that info yet it just means they might resequence for the following week or check manually if it hasn’t hit master file. If it takes longer then 21 days they may ask u to send a copy of your w2 used to file 2019 tax return.
Call SSA and talk to someone they can tell u if it’s there or not.

So you believe w2 wages arent always updated to ssa.gov this soon. Why are some of the ppl saying they can see thier 2019 wages now? who knows. I guess I should just call them tomorrow and go from there

Some get updated wages w2 showing on SSA quickly and some do not. As for the self employment, that amount comes straight from tax return and that’s when supposedly the wage showing on SSA for self employment means processed. I think…lol

Yeah but I’m seeing some who can see thier ssa.gov 2019 wages now. Others are saying it wont update till this summer. My employer claims to have sent it off. I have no reason to doubt it but would like to know myself whether or not it has

Coming from the IRS site the wage transcript may not be updated until July.
