I was told that if you’re self-employed, and your tax earnings appear on the SSA site, that means that your return was approved by the IRS, and that it means your refund was approved. Anyone know if there’s any truth in this?

I couldn’t view my transcripts so I check SSA last night around 11 I believe and my income was reported. Checked WMR this morning and had DDD 2/26.

@Applezo, you’re correct, when the IRS is finished processing return, wage/earnings information “Anual wage reporting”, is sent to SSA.

              Self employed, ddd of 2 / 26

I was under the impression SSA wouldn’t show the updated wages until returns were processed. My earnings are there but I don’t have a DDD. Unfortunately I can’t view transcripts.

I have been filing 1099 or self employed for many many years myself, and have seen the wages reported much faster than this year. Checked again this morning and still says nothing reported at My SS Site. However my transcripts do show up at IRS and appears to be complete just waiting on DDD due to Path Act. I noticed something quite different than previous uses to IRS site on account tab feature. The amount expected for refund and AGI was on the page after I was of course logged in, and all coincided with my tax return.
