Spoke with IRS

So I actually spoke to an irs agent. This is all a big mess she stated that nothing was wrong with my return however she stated that the message that I have “we have received your refund it’s being processed “ she stated it’s being processed and that’s all she could tell me. I asked about the processing date on transcript that says 2019-25-2 she stated that that means that is when they will start processing the return ? I’m so confused!!! Bc I see people getting deposits etc‼️‼️😢

@gradylady36 I was audited last year didn’t find out until I called if they told you tht then tht is where your process begins in my case I was able to get a tax advocate and she really was helping me I was so skeptical of them all thinking no one would help me but she did not saying she was the most pleasant but she was doing her job and were in a sensitive position so we’re vunerable I had to send in a lot of paperwork file a 1040x so it was a lot faxing in the end I got mine back in June it’s a process and they really do their job my advice try and get an advocate and go thru the process

This is ironic because I just spoke with a nice lady at the IRS and I was asking about my offset disappearing and she said I didn’t have a offset which I kinda figured since my state got approved today they probably took it out of my state which it was astate offset and after clearing that up I was told my wmr would update on the 25 which is my processing date but of course I’m a weekly and I’ve always updated on Sat so hopefully sat I’ll get my ddd. good luck to all pathers especially 20190605,s

Let the sleeping dog lie and just be patient and dont call unless you are instructed to. From what I have been reading is that eveeybody is in the same boat waiting for there update and then theres the inpatient people jumping ship and calling the irs causing themselves mire prob l ems from triggering id verification to getting an audit. They maybe calk center workers but it seems like they have a button to push if you start pushing theres.

Atleast the guy you got didn’t tell you the ACTC credit triggers a 45day review that’s wht I got as an answer but the first guy told me he saw nothing wrong 😐

Can someone please help me I called the IRS to check on my return I’m a pather one agent to me the mailed me a letter on the 18th of February asking me to send in verification for my 2 children so I did I called back today to see if they received it the exams department tells me they never mailed me a letter nor have a file on me an have no record that I called the web site is saying we received your return and it is being processed so I asked them was I being audited an she says yes so someone please tell me what to believe

My processing date was 2/13….no update on WMR mine says the same damn thing 😐

So idk what to think anymore, no codes or any notices yet. Just waiting until the 27th to call…
