spoke to irs and no return on file

I filed 2/2 accepted same day with both credits. On Bar one and 152 but no path message.
Still can’t order transcript with my new address.

But I called the IRS today and verified with my new address that was on my2016 return and he said there’s no return filed for 2016????
Anybody know what going on?

I didn’t get the PATH message until I was able to order both of my transcripts. Which I assumed they were done processing my return. If they can’t look you up with your new address, it likely means that they haven’t processed your return yet. Try your old address. If they can find something with your old address, it confirms that your current tax return hasn’t been processed.

You’re getting that message because they haven’t started processing it. Once it starts process you should be able to get your transcripts under your new address.

I filed with liberty tax. And my tax preparer said it was accepted and I can log in to wmr and I’m on one bar and 152 code. With my expected amount..

Try your old address. That happened to me before and I used my old address. Who did you file with?
