      After filing my taxes on February 13th and Icalled for transcripts today and I was told that my tax return could not be processed in the system so therefore it has gone to the specialized unit….. does not anything to with Iinput it I am NOT being audited I do not have a capture I do not owe anybody any money its just that for some reason the system could not process my tax return so therefore it must be processed by hand who here is aware that that is happening with their tax return or maybe not please post here lets help each other the good news is I know I’m getting my return it’s just a matter of when let’s support each other

          I guess that’s where mine is. I was told my return wasn’t processed properly. Still can’t order return transcript.

            UPDATE! !!!!!!! WELL….AFTER REQUSTING MY TRANSCRIPT BY PHONE ON FRIDAY….I GOT MY TRANSCRIPT TODAY IN THE MAIL…….WMR STATUS HAS NOT CHANGED THOUGH….STAYING POSITIVE

                Honestly I think this has happened with a lot of people. If your return is flagged as unpostable then they do have to input it manually into the system for further processing. Depending on filing dates & status could play a role in the flags. I know it’s taken almost twice the normal processing time for my individual return to even show up in the system. I have a weekly return & it’s taken no less than 30 days before I knew anything! After my 21st day came & went I called in for an update. I had no bars for 2 weeks, no codes,flags orletters. The rep told me I was still just processing. I had no holds,no ID to verify & wasn’t informed to if I was under review or not. Basically, I was in line ,not resequenced but merely waiting my turn as I was in with the huge influx of filers who’d put their return in on opening day. Big mistake I learned later. I was finally able to order both transcripts (or so I think) via the phone line b/c each time I tried online it just told me there was no info available for the year I was requesting. I hope to see an update to WMR reflecting my DDD after all this insanity.
                To answer your topic ? , yes I’ve heard of manual input. They also can fix any errors or discrepancy found within your return while they have it. The wait this season has driven many taxpayers mad…including myself. I’ve never been let down consistently so much in my life!
